Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disorder involving a part of the brain that is responsible for motor control, which not only results in changes or disruptions in movement, but also cognitive dysfunctions. Given that the decline of muscle control such as tremors, with difficulty walking or the ability to switch tasks once in movement, greatly affects the quality of daily life. Action regulation is a critical executive function (cognitive control over behavior), which includes actions such as suppressing activity when selecting between options, making decisions about stopping unwanted or inappropriate actions, and switching to new actions in response to environmental changes. Parkinson's disease (PD) has been shown to disrupt action inhibition which can be considered a measure to the progression of PD. The purpose of this research study is to better understand the mechanism of action regulations in PD patients and how action regulations in PD can be improved using dopaminergic treatment, which is a drug that either releases or involves dopamine, which is a neurotransmitter involved in sending signals to nerve cells. You are asked to participate in this research study because you are receiving a dopaminergic medication for treatment of your Parkinson's disease. There is currently no theory that integrates the mechanisms of action regulation into a unified framework, which this study aims to address. The researchers hope to learn more about the mechanisms of action regulation in PD patients and to help decrease action regulation disruptions in PD patients. EFC18418 is a multinational, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group, Phase 3 study with 3 treatment groups. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of 2 dosing regimens of itepekimab compared to placebo as add-on therapy to intranasal corticosteroids (INCS) in male and female participants with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) aged 18 years of age and older. Study details include: * The study duration per participant (4-week screening, 52-week treatment, 20-week safety follow-up) will be up to 76 weeks. For participants transitioning to the LTS18420 study, the study duration will be 56 weeks. * The treatment duration will be up to 52 weeks. * The number of visits will be 9 site visits and 20 phone/home visits. The purpose of this study is to evaluate how well eloralintide and eloralintide with tirzepatide is tolerated and what side effects may occur in participants with overweight or obesity. The study drug will be administered subcutaneously (SC) (under the skin). Blood tests will be performed to check how much eloralintide and eloralintide with tirzepatide get into the bloodstream and how long it takes the body to eliminate it. There will be 6 cohorts. This is a placebo-controlled, randomized, double-blind, parallel group, phase 3 multicenter study in subjects recently hospitalized for ACS and with the appropriate genetic profile. Subjects will provide informed consent before any study-specific procedures are performed. A separate informed consent will be allowed for an initial pre-screening genetic testing. Subjects meeting the AA genotype will then consent to the full study and confirmatory genetic testing as required. Subject enrollment may begin in the hospital and will continue following release from the hospital or may begin following release from hospital. Screening procedures may be performed at the time of the index ACS event or anytime thereafter, with the condition that randomization must occur within the mandated window (up to12 weeks after the index event). Subjects will be assessed based on their medical history. Those who are likely to qualify will undergo Genotype Assay testing to evaluate genetic determination for the presence of AA genotype. The purpose of this study is to measure the efficacy and safety of baxdrostat/dapagliflozin in participants ≥ 18 years of age with CKD and HTN. This study consists of a screening, a 4-week dapagliflozin run-in period for participants naïve to SGLT2i at baseline; a 24-month double-blind period in which participants will receive either baxdrostat/dapagliflozin or dapagliflozin; and a 6-week open-label period in which all participants will discontinue baxdrostat/placebo and receive dapagliflozin alone. Site visits will take place at 2-, 4-, 8-, and 16- weeks following randomisation. Thereafter visits will occur approximately every 4 months, until the 24-month visit at which time baxdrostat/placebo will be discontinued. Participants will continue open-label dapagliflozin for another 6-weeks (approximately), where reassessment of GFR will occur for the primary efficacy endpoint. In the event of premature discontinuation of blinded study intervention, participants will continue in the study and receive open-label dapagliflozin monotherapy, unless the participant meets dapagliflozin specific discontinuation criteria, in which case all study interventions will be discontinued. This is a prospective, open-label, multi-center, single-arm study planned to enroll 200 subjects with heterogeneous emphysema and collateral ventilation (CV) in the target lobe. Subjects will undergo instillation of AeriSeal Foam in the target lobe and subsequent assessment of CV status using Chartis Pulmonary Assessment System. Subjects with CV- status will then undergo placement of Zephyr Valve in the target lobe for bronchoscopic lung volume reduction (BLVR) and be followed for 24 months. Read Less

Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic and often painful inflammatory skin disease which includes the forming of lumps, abscesses and scars in areas of the skin such as under the breasts, under armpits, inner thighs, groin and buttocks. This study will compare lutikizumab versus placebo for the treatment of adult and adolescent participants with the signs and symptoms of moderate to severe HS . Lutikizumab is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of HS. During Period 1 of the study, participants will placed in 1 of 2 groups called treatment arms. There is a 1 in 2 chance that participants will be assigned to placebo. Around 1280 adult and adolescent participants with moderate to severe HS will be enrolled in the study at approximately 275 sites world wide. During Period 2, participants that were part of the lutikizumab treatment arm in Period 1 will be re-randomized to 1 of 2 lutikizumab treatment arms. Participants that were part of the Placebo arm in Period 1 will start Period 2 with an initiation of lutikizumab followed by a re-randomization to 1 of 2 lutikizumab treatment arms. In Period 1, participants will receive subcutaneous injections of lutikizumab or placebo every week for 16 weeks. In Period 2, participants that were randomized to lutikizumab in Period 1 will receive subcutaneous injections of lutikizumab every week or every other week for 36-weeks. Participants that were randomized to the placebo arm in Period 1 will receive subcutaneous injections of lutikizumab every week for 16 weeks, then either every week or every other week for 20 weeks. Period 3 is the Long Term Extentsion (LTE) and through Week 68, participants will continue to receive lutikizumab SC using the same assigned dosing regimen from the end of Period 2 for 16 weeks followed by open-label lutikizumab EOW for 140 weeks. Participants in the US that complete Periods 1 \& 2 will have the option to enroll in a 156-week open-label Sub-Study that will assess the long term safety and efficacy of lutikizumab in a prefilled pen. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. This study is open to adults who are at least 18 years old and have: * A confirmed liver disease called non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) or * A confirmed liver disease called metabolic-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) * BMI of 27 kg/m2 or more or * 25 kg/m2 or more if the participant is Asian. People with a history of other chronic liver diseases or high alcohol intake cannot take part in this study. The purpose of this study is to find out whether a medicine called survodutide helps people with NASH or MASH improve their liver function. Participants are put into 2 groups randomly, which means by chance. 1 group gets survodutide and 1 group gets placebo. Placebo looks like survodutide but does not contain any medicine. Each participant has twice the chance of getting survodutide. Participants and doctors do not know who is in which group. Participants inject survodutide or placebo under their skin once a week. All participants regularly receive counselling to make changes to their diet and to exercise regularly. Participants are in the study for up to 4 and a half years. During this time, they visit the study site or have a remote visit by video call every 2, 4 or 6 weeks for about a 1 year and 5 months. After this time participants visit the trial site or have a remote visit every 3 months until the end of the study. The doctors check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects. The participants' body weight is regularly measured. At some visits the liver parameters are measured using different imaging methods. The participants also fill in questionnaires about their symptoms. The results are compared between the groups to see whether the treatment works. Read Less

The main purpose of the study is to assess whether the study drug, LY4066434, is safe and tolerable when administered to participants with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors with certain KRAS mutations.
