This study is researching experimental (study) drugs called pozelimab and cemdisiran. The study is focused on participants who have geographic atrophy (GA) caused by age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Geographic atrophy is a medical term that refers to later-stage cases of AMD which is an eye condition affecting central vision (what one sees straight ahead). The purpose of this study is to evaluate the progression rate of Geographic Atrophy in eyes of patients treated with cemdisiran alone or in combination with pozelimab compared to those treated with placebo. The study is looking at several other research questions, including: * What side effects may happen from taking the study drug(s) * How much study drug(s) are in the blood at different times * Whether the body makes antibodies against the study drug(s) (which could make the study drug(s) less effective or could lead to side effects) Read Less

This study is open to adults who are at least 18 years old and have: * a confirmed liver disease called non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH)/metabolic-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) and * moderate or advanced liver fibrosis People with a history of acute or chronic liver diseases other than MASH or chronic alcohol intake cannot take part in this study. The purpose of this study is to find out whether a medicine called survodutide helps people with MASH and moderate or advanced liver fibrosis improve their liver function. This study has 2 parts. The purpose of the first part of this study is to find out the effect of survodutide on MASH and liver fibrosis. The purpose of the second part is to find out how safe and effective survodutide is in improving liver function. Participants are put into 2 groups randomly, which means by chance. 1 group gets survodutide and 1 group gets placebo. Placebo looks like survodutide but does not contain any medicine. Each participant has twice the chance of getting survodutide. Participants and doctors do not know who is in which group. Participants inject survodutide or placebo under their skin once a week. The survodutide doses are slowly increased until the target dose is reached. All participants receive counselling to make changes to their diet and to exercise regularly. Participants are in the study for up to 7 years. During this time, they regularly visit the study site or have remote visits by video call. For about the first year of the study, participants have these visits every 2 weeks, increasing to every 4 weeks and then every 6 weeks. After being in the study for a little over a year participants will then alternate between visiting the study site or having a remote visit every 3 months until the end of the study. The doctors check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects. The participants' body weight and effects on the stomach and intestines are regularly measured. At some visits the liver is measured using different imaging methods. At 2 or 3 visits doctors take a small sample of liver tissue (biopsy). The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the efficacy, safety and pharmacokinetics of elamipretide in subjects with dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The main questions it aims to answer are: what is the rate of change in the macular area of photoreceptor loss in subjects who receive a daily dose of elamipretide compared with those who receive a look-alike substance that contains no active drug, and what is the safety and tolerability of elamipretide daily subcutaneous injections. This study is open to adults who are at least 18 years old and have: * A confirmed liver disease called non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) or * A confirmed liver disease called metabolic-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) * BMI of 27 kg/m2 or more or * 25 kg/m2 or more if the participant is Asian. People with a history of other chronic liver diseases or high alcohol intake cannot take part in this study. The purpose of this study is to find out whether a medicine called survodutide helps people with NASH or MASH improve their liver function. Participants are put into 2 groups randomly, which means by chance. 1 group gets survodutide and 1 group gets placebo. Placebo looks like survodutide but does not contain any medicine. Adults 40 years of age and older with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) or 18 years and older with progressive pulmonary fibrosis (PPF) can participate in this study. Only people who have a chronic cough can take part. The purpose of this study is to find out how well BI 1839100 helps reduce coughing in people with IPF or PPF. Participants who have IPF are put into 4 groups by chance. Participants in 3 groups get different doses of BI 1839100. Participants in 1 group get placebo. Placebo looks like BI 1839100 but does not contain any medicine. Participants take the treatment for 3 months. After 1 month of treatment, participants who take the highest dose will have coughing measured to find out if the medicine works. If it does not work, the study may be stopped. Participants who have IPF are in the study for slightly longer than 4 months. During this time, they visit the study site 7 times. This study will also measure the effects of BI 1839100 on coughing and lung function in a smaller group of people with PPF. During the study, coughing is measured over 24 hours about once per month using a portable device given to participants to use during the study. Participants fill in questionnaires about their coughing. Doctors also perform breathing tests that measure how well the lungs are working at the site visits. Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is an immune-mediated disease associated with inflammation of multiple organ systems. This study will assess how safe and effective upadacitinib is in treating adult participants with moderately to severely active SLE. Adverse events and change in the disease activity will be assessed. Upadacitinib is an approved drug for rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and axial spondylarthritis and is being developed for the treatment of SLE. This study is "double-blinded", which means that neither the trial participants nor the study doctors will know who will be given upadacitinib and who will be given placebo (does not contain treatment drug) . This study comprised of 3 sub studies. In Study 1 and Study 2, study doctors put the participants in 1 of the 2 groups, called treatment arms. Each group receives a different treatment. There is a 1 in 2 chance that participants will be assigned to placebo. Eligible participants from Study 1 and Study 2 will enter Study 3 at week 52 to receive specific doses of upadacitinib based on their disease activity and their original treatment assignment in Study 1 or 2. Approximately 500 participants diagnosed with SLE will be enrolled in each of the Study 1 and Study 2 in approximately 320 sites across the world. Participants will receive oral tablets of upadacitinib or matching placebo once daily for 52 weeks in Study 1 and Study 2. Eligible participants from Study 1 and Study 2 will receive oral tablets of upadacitinib once daily for 52 weeks in Study 3. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The purpose of the study is to evaluate effect of benralizumab on structural and lung function changes in severe eosinophilic asthmatics. Changes will be assessed over 48 week treatment period in patients with persistent symptoms despite standard therapy of inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) plus long acting B2-agonist (LABA) with or without additional controller medication.
