Comparing Impact of Treatment Before or After Surgery in Patients With Stage II-IIIB Resectable Non-small Cell Lung Cancer
Recruiting
This phase III trial compares standard therapy given after surgery (adjuvant) to standard therapy given before and after surgery (perioperative) in treating patients with stage II-IIIB non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that can be removed by surgery (resectable). The usual approach for patients with resectable NSCLC is chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy before surgery, after surgery, or both before and after surgery. This study is being done to find out which approach is better at treating patie... Read More

DAREON™-7: A Study to Test How Well Different Doses of BI 764532 in Addition to Chemotherapy Are Tolerated by People With Advanced Neuroendocrine Cancers
Recruiting
This study is open to adults aged 18 and older or above legal age who have a specific type of advanced neuroendocrine cancer (NEC). Their tumours must be positive for a marker called DLL3. The purpose of this study is to test a medicine called BI 764532 in addition to chemotherapy. The study has 2 parts. Part A of this study aims to find out the highest dose of BI 764532 that people can tolerate in addition to chemotherapy. The purpose of Part B is to find out how well people can tolerate BI 76... Study BT8009-230 in Participants With Locally Advanced or Metastatic Urothelial Cancer (Duravelo-2)
Recruiting
This is a global, multicenter, randomized, open-label study, with an adaptive design. The main objective of the study is to measure the efficacy and safety of BT8009 (zelenectide pevedotin) as monotherapy and in combination with pembrolizumab in participants with locally advanced or metastatic urothelial cancer (UC). The study includes a dose selection phase followed by an adaptive design continuation. The study is comprised of 2 cohorts. Cohort 1 will include participants who have not received... Read More

Osimertinib Alone or With Chemotherapy for EGFR-Mutant Lung Cancers
Recruiting
This study will compare the effectiveness of osimertinib alone with the combination of osimertinib and chemotherapy (carboplatin and pemetrexed) in people with metastatic lung cancer that has a change (mutation) in the gene EGFR. Osimertinib alone is the usual treatment for metastatic EGFR-mutant lung cancer. Researchers think adding chemotherapy to osimertinib could possibly add to the anticancer effects of the usual treatment and help stop cancer from growing or spreading.

To Evaluate Efficacy and Safety of Serplulimab + Chemotherapy (Carboplatin- Etoposide) in US Patients With ES-SCLC
Recruiting
This is a randomized, open-label study of Serplulimab plus chemotherapy (Carboplatin-Etoposide) in comparison with Atezolizumab plus chemotherapy in previously untreated US patients with ES-SCLC. Subjects in this study will be randomized to arm A or B at 1:1 ratio as follows: * Arm A (Serplulimab): Serplulimab + chemotherapy (carboplatin-etoposide) * Arm B (control): Atezolizumab + chemotherapy (carboplatin-etoposide)

RAGE Inhibition to Decrease Cardiotoxicity in Women With Early Breast Cancer
Recruiting
This is a pilot study to evaluate the effects of azeliragon to decrease cardiac toxicity from chemotherapy and the safety of azelirgaon when given with chemotherapy. The Investigators hypothesize that there will be no significant interaction with Azeliragon and chemotherapy and that targeting the RAGE pathway will decrease anthracycline related cardiotoxicity and chemotherapy related cognitive decline.

A Study of Short-Course Radiation Therapy With Chemotherapy in People With Endometrial Cancer
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to find out whether short-course radiation therapy (1 week instead of the usual 5 weeks) with chemotherapy (carboplatin and paclitaxel) is practical (feasible), meaning that most participants are able to complete the treatment schedule.

Evaluation of Dosing Procedures of Chemotherapy Treatment (Carboplatin) With the Contrast Agent Iohexol
Recruiting
This trial studies how well iohexol works in helping doctors calculate the dose of carboplatin given to patients with cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Understanding how to best calculate the dose of carboplatin given to patients with cancer may help doctors learn how to improve the use of carboplatin in the future.

Adding Certolizumab to Chemotherapy + Nivolumab in People Who Have Lung Cancer That Can Be Treated With Surgery
Recruiting
The purpose of the study is to explore adding the study drug certolizumab to standard chemotherapy as it may reduce the inflammation caused by the cancer and make the chemotherapy more effective in shrinking the cancer. This study will examine whether adding certolizumab to the usual treatment approach is better than, the same as, or worse than the usual approach alone.
