Enasidenib for the Treatment of Relapsed or Refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia Patients With an IDH2 Mutation

This trial studies the side effects of enasidenib and to see how well it works in treating patients with acute myeloid leukemia that has come back after treatment (relapsed) or has been difficult to treat with chemotherapy (refractory). Patients must also have a specific genetic change, also called a mutation, in a protein called IDH2. Enasidenib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking the mutated IDH2 protein, which is needed for cell growth.

MATRIX-001 will examine the safety, PK, modeled PD, and acceptability of inserts containing the combination of TAF and EVG applied vaginally, daily for 3 days, then every other day for 14 days. Use of Harmonic Scalpel to Decrease Lymphatic and Chest Tube Drainage After Lymph Node Dissection With Lobectomy.

In an effort to elucidate whether the Harmonic Scalpel will improve sealing lymphatics and decrease lymphatic drainage thereby decreasing the length of time that chest tubes are required and minimizing length of stay; the Harmonic Scalpel will be compared to a control group which uses electrocautery. This study will assess these two different methods to determine if there is a notable decrease in the amount of drainage with one versus the other.
