This study is a 16-week intent-to-treat randomized controlled trial (RCT) with 120 suicidal juvenile justice (JJ)-involved transition-age (TA) youth (age 15-21 years) and a primary caregiver (dyads). Dyads will be randomly assigned to iKinnect2.0 (n=60 dyads) or Life360 (control app) plus an electronic suicide resources brochure (n=60 dyads). This design will test iKinnect2.0's new features for suicide prevention against TA youth awareness of and access to high-quality suicide prevention resources, while simultaneously testing features relating to conduct problems and parent management against parents knowing the TA youth's whereabouts in real-time and controlling for dyad member engagement in technology (Life360). Participants will be assessed at baseline, 4, 8 and 16 weeks. Primary youth-reported outcomes relating to suicide risk include: Suicidal behaviors (ideation, planning, attempts), non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors, self-efficacy in coping with distress, and use of imminent distress coping strategies (behavioral skills, use of crisis stabilization plan). Youth will also report on their criminal behavior. Primary caregiver-reported outcome variables relating to youth suicide include: Self-efficacy in applying family-based suicide-prevention strategies and reported use of those strategies; caregivers will also report on their own functioning (efficacy/confidence in parenting skills, life stress), TA youth functioning (internalizing and externalizing symptoms), parental management behaviors (expectation clarity, parental monitoring, discipline effectiveness/consistency, use of rewards), and parent-youth relationship quality (communication, conflict, support). App satisfaction and use of technology outcomes (i.e., degree of app usage, features used) will be examined and reported descriptively. Read Less

The central purpose of this project is to evaluate and facilitate access to evidence-based best practices for individuals struggling with suicidal ideation and co-occurring behavioral problems, including alcohol misuse, and provide assistance to the patients while they are waiting to receive care, as they are receiving care, and after they return home. While WisePath is highly innovative in how it delivers these best practices, the content is well-established and known to reduce suicidality and alcohol misuse. We will conduct a 12-week intent-to-treat RCT with 120 suicidal adults 22 years and older who may also be experiencing alcohol misuse. Participants will be randomly assigned to WisePath (n=60) or an active control condition (n=60) including a control suicide prevention self-help app plus an electronic wellness resources brochure containing links to health and wellness materials, psychoeducation about suicide, depression, self-help recovery-focused resources (e.g., Alcoholics Anonymous and other 12-Step programs, Moderation Management, etc.), and phone/text information for the 988 Suicide \& Crisis Lifeline. The goal of this randomized clinical trial is to test the efficacy of a program meant to enhance Counseling for Harm Reduction and Retention in MAT in Cherokee Nation (CHaRRM-CN). The main questions it aims to answer are whether CHaRRM-CN: improves retention of patients in MAT, decreases substance-related harm and illicit opioid use, and increases cultural connectedness. After providing written, informed consent, participants will attend a baseline assessement and will then be randomized to either the CHaRRM-CN or treatment as usual group. For 6 months after randomization, participants will be exposed to CHaRRM-CN or treatment as usual. During that time, participants will also attend the 1-month, 3-month and 6-month follow-ups to track their progress through the programs. The goal of this study is to determine the efficacy of the study drug olutasidenib to treat newly diagnosed pediatric and young adult patients with a high-grade glioma (HGG) harboring an IDH1 mutation. This is a multicenter longitudinal study that aims to validate a set of measures that were previously identified as promising candidate biomarkers and/or sensitive and reliable objective measures of social function in ASD for potential use in clinical trials. The confirmation study will repeat the data collection and analysis protocols from the original ABC-CT study. This confirmation study will recruit 200 ASD and 200 TD comparison participants who are 6-11 years old, matching the overall sample size but providing a larger normative reference sample and greater statistical power for group comparisons. Investigators will conduct a two-group randomized waitlist-control trial to assess the efficacy of the Wakaya: Rising Up for Choctaw Youth Health program on improving physical activity, reducing sedentary behaviors and improving healthful eating habits as well as delaying or reducing alcohol, tobacco and other drug use. Wakaya is an experiential, outdoor, nature-based program grounded in Choctaw values. This investigation is designed to evaluate the performance rate of two polyurethane male condoms with different sizes and thicknesses versus a standard natural rubber latex (NRL) male condom. The purpose of this study is to see how well the experimental condoms perform compared to the latex rubber condom (for example, how often the different condom types break or slip off the penis). This phase II Expanded Lung-MAP treatment trial tests tepotinib with or without ramucirumab for the treatment of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (stage IV) or that has come back after a period of improvement (recurrent). Tepotinib is used in patients whose cancer has a mutated (changed) form of a gene called MET. It is in a class of medications called kinase inhibitors. It works by blocking the action of the abnormal MET protein that signals tumor cells to multiply. This helps slow or stop the spread of tumor cells. Ramucirumab is a monoclonal antibody that may prevent the growth of new blood vessels that tumors need to grow. Giving tepotinib with ramucirumab may lower the chance of the cancer from growing or spreading in patients with stage IV or recurrent non-small cell lung cancer. Read Less
