HCRN Endoscopic Versus Shunt Treatment of Hydrocephalus in Infants
Recruiting
Hydrocephalus is a potentially debilitating neurological condition that primarily affects babies under a year of age and has traditionally been treated by inserting a shunt between the brain and the abdomen. A newer endoscopic procedure offers hope of shunt- free treatment that may reduce complications over a child's life, but it is not clear if the endoscopic procedure results in similar intellectual outcome as shunt. Therefore, the investigators propose a randomized trial to compare intellectu... Read More

Virtual Incentive Treatment for Alcohol
Recruiting
The overall objective of this program of research is to utilize phosphatidylethanol (PEth), a blood-based biomarker that can detect alcohol use for up to 28 days to deliver a feasible telehealth-based 26-week CM intervention. This study will test a telehealth PEth-based CM model in a sample of adults with AUD (n=200), recruited via online platforms by randomizing individuals to six months of 1) an online cognitive behavioral therapy for AUD (CBT4CBT) and telehealth PEth-based CM (CM condition) o... Doxycycline for Emphysema in People Living With HIV (The DEPTH Trial)
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to determine if doxycycline will reduce progression of emphysema in people living with HIV. The secondary objectives are to examine the effects of doxycycline on change in quantity of emphysema, six minute walk distance, patient reported outcomes, ratio of forced expiratory volume in 1 second and forced vital capacity. Secondary objectives will also describe the safety and tolerability of doxycycline and determine if doxycycline is associated with development of ant... Read More

A Study of TSR-022 in Participants With Advanced Solid Tumors (AMBER)
Recruiting
This is a first-in-human study evaluating the anti-T cell immunoglobulin and mucin containing protein-3 (TIM-3) antibody TSR-022. The study will be conducted in 2 parts with Part 1 consisting of dose escalation and Part 2 dose expansion. Part 1 will determine the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of TSR-022 and Part 2 will evaluate the antitumor activity of TSR-022 in combination with TSR-042 or docetaxel and as monotherapy.

Study of B7-H3, EGFR806, HER2, And IL13-Zetakine (Quad) CAR T Cell Locoregional Immunotherapy For Pediatric Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, Diffuse Midline Glioma, And Recurrent Or Refractory Central Nervous System Tumors
Recruiting
This is a Phase 1 study of central nervous system (CNS) locoregional adoptive therapy with SC-CAR4BRAIN, an autologous CD4+ and CD8+ T cells lentivirally transduced to express to express combinations of B7-H3, EGFR806, HER2, and IL13-zetakine chimeric antigen receptors (CAR). CAR T cells are delivered via an indwelling catheter into the ventricular system in children and young adults with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), diffuse midline glioma (DMG), and recurrent or refractory CNS tumor... VItamin C in Thermal injuRY: The VICToRY Trial
Recruiting
This study aims to show that giving high dose, intravenous vitamin C in addition to standard care to burned critically ill patients will be associated with less organ dysfunction, improved survival and a quicker rate of recovery. In this study, all patients will receive standard care and of the patients will also receive high dose intravenous vitamin C, while the other half of patients will receive placebo.

Black Adult Resilience Study
Recruiting
Alcohol and cannabis are the most misused psychoactive substances in the United States, and their misuse among African American young adults has the potential to be especially problematic. The proposed research examines how daily and racial stressors (e.g., racism and discrimination) may lead to alcohol and cannabis use among African American young adults, and what individual and community coping and resources mitigate this causal effect. This research is designed to identify possible targets fo... Read More
