Quality of Pediatric Resuscitation in a Multicenter Collaborative
Recruiting
This is a prospective, observational, multi-center cohort study of pediatric cardiac arrests. The purpose of the study is to determine the association between chest compression mechanics (rate, depth, flow fraction, compression release) and patient outcomes. In addition, the investigators will determine the association of post cardiac arrest care with patient outcomes.

Recruiting
This phase II trial tests whether atezolizumab in combination with a multi-kinase inhibitor (cabozantinib or lenvatinib) compared to multi-kinase inhibitor alone in treating patients with liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable), has spread to has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced), or has spread to other places in the body (metastatic), for which the patient has received treatment in the past (previously treated). Attention Bias Modification Training for Social Phobia (ABMSP)
Recruiting
Attentional bias has primarily been investigated as a primary cognitive etiology of social anxiety symptoms. Previous research has found that individuals with high social anxiety showed facilitated attentional engagement to threat stimuli or delayed disengagement of attention from threat. Attentional Bias Modification Training (ABMT) was developed through applying the attentional mechanism in social anxiety. During ABMT, participants are deliberately induced to shift their attention away from th... Read More

CUped: An Approach to Motor Recovery Post-Stroke, Not Compensation
Recruiting
The goal of lower limb rehabilitation after stroke is recovery of independent walking at home and in the community. Few stroke survivors achieve this goal. Suboptimal outcomes are due to the serious and intransigent nature of movement impairments caused by stroke and the scarcity of feasible and effective therapies that restore movement lost to stroke. Our team has developed a novel exercise intervention called CUped (pronounced cupid, like the Roman god) to address barriers to recovery and impr... Read More

Development and Testing of a Pediatric Cervical Spine Injury Risk Assessment Tool
Recruiting
Cervical spine injuries (CSI) are serious, but rare events in children. Spinal precautions (rigid cervical collar and immobilization on a longboard) in the prehospital setting may be beneficial for children with CSI, but are poorly studied. In contrast, spinal precautions for pediatric trauma patients without CSI are common and may be associated with harm. Spinal precautions result in well-documented adverse physical and physiological sequelae. Of substantial concern is that the mere presence of... Read More

Fetal Electrophysiologic Abnormalities in High-Risk Pregnancies Associated With Fetal Demise
Recruiting
Each year world-wide, 2.5 million fetuses die unexpectedly in the last half of pregnancy, 25,000 in the United States, making fetal demise ten-times more common than Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. This study will apply a novel type of non-invasive monitoring, called fetal magnetocardiography (fMCG) used thus far to successfully evaluate fetal arrhythmias, in order to discover potential hidden electrophysiologic abnormalities that could lead to fetal demise in five high-risk pregnancy conditions a...
