This phase II trial studies the effect of venetoclax and azacitidine in treating patients with therapy related or secondary myelodysplastic syndrome. Venetoclax may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking Bcl-2, a protein needed for cancer cell survival. The Parkinson Progression Marker Initiative (PPMI) is a longitudinal, observational, multi-center natural history study to assess progression of clinical features, digital outcomes, and imaging, biologic and genetic markers of Parkinson's disease (PD) progression in study participants with manifest PD, prodromal PD, and healthy controls.
The overall goal of PPMI is to identify markers of disease progression for use in clinical trials of therapies to reduce progression of PD disability.

Massive Transfusion in Children-2: A Trial Examining Life Threatening Hemorrhage in Children

The MATIC-2 is a multicenter clinical trial enrolling children who are less than 18 years of age with hemorrhagic shock potentially needing significant blood transfusion.
The primary objective of the clinical trial is to determine the effectiveness of Low Titer Group O Whole Blood (LTOWB) compared to component therapy (CT), and Tranexamic Acid (TXA) compared to placebo in decreasing 24-hour all-cause mortality in children with traumatic life threatening hemorrhage.
