The purpose of this clinical investigation is to assess the safety and performance of Compedica's OptiPulse™ and to collect subject outcome data on the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers (DFU's) versus the standard of care (SOC). Background: Diet is one of the most modifiable behaviors affecting health. But diet assessment measures that are based on self-report can be inaccurate. Researchers want better ways to address the role of diet in chronic disease. They want to see if stable isotopes can be used to better assess what people eat. Objective: To see if stable isotopes can help scientists identify things people eat. Eligibility: Healthy adults ages 18 to 65 Design: Participants will be screened with a medical history and physical exam. They will have blood and urine tests. These tests will be repeated during the study. Participants will stay in the inpatient unit of the NIH in Phoenix, Arizona, for 13 weeks. For 7 days, participants will eat a diet prepared by the NIH kitchen. They will get balanced meals that are 50% carbohydrates, 20% protein, and 30% fat. Then participants will be randomly placed on one of 3 diets containing different percentages of carbohydrates from soda. Participants height and weight will be measured. The amount of fat and muscle in their body will be measured by body scans that are similar to x-rays. Participants will have oral glucose tolerance tests. They will consume a sugar drink and then give blood samples over 3 hours. Participants will give hair and stool samples. Participants will complete a diet questionnaire. It assesses their food intake over 24 hours. Participants will complete behavioral questionnaires and computer performance tests. Participants will have fat biopsies taken from their stomach and thigh. Participants will have three 24-hour stays in a metabolic chamber. It is used to measure metabolism. Read Less

This is a multi-center clinical study enrolling up to 86 participants. The primary objectives are to determine the objective response rate (ORR) established by the confirmed best overall response (BOR) following intratumoral administration of DaRT - Diffusing Alpha-Emitters Radiation Therapy, as well as to assess the Duration of Response (DOR) 6 months from initial response. Secondary objectives are to assess the safety of DaRT, and to assess the progression free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS), Overall Duration of Response (O-DOR), local control and quality of life (QOL) for patients treated with DaRT. Severe Aplastic Anemia (SAA) is a rare condition in which the body stops producing enough new blood cells. SAA can be cured with immune suppressive therapy or a bone marrow transplant. Regular treatment for patients with aplastic anemia who have a matched sibling (brother or sister), or family donor is a bone marrow transplant. Patients without a matched family donor normally are treated with immune suppressive therapy (IST). Match unrelated donor (URD) bone marrow transplant (BMT) is used as a secondary treatment in patients who did not get better with IST, had their disease come back, or a new worse disease replaced it (like leukemia). This trial will compare time from randomization to failure of treatment or death from any cause of IST versus URD BMT when used as initial therapy to treat SAA. The trial will also assess whether health-related quality of life and early markers of fertility differ between those randomized to URD BMT or IST, as well as assess the presence of marrow failure-related genes and presence of gene mutations associated with MDS or leukemia and the change in gene signatures after treatment in both study arms. In this study, researchers will learn more about BIIB122 in participants with early-stage Parkinson's disease (PD). The study will include adults aged 30 to 80 who were diagnosed with PD within 2 years of starting the study. The main objective of the study is to learn about the effect BIIB122 has on slowing down the worsening of PD symptoms. The main question researchers want to answer is: - How long does it take for PD symptoms to worsen during BIIB122 treatment? Researchers will answer this and other questions by measuring the symptoms of PD over time using a variety of scoring tools. These include the Movement Disorder Society Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (MDS-UPDRS) and the modified Schwab and England Activities of Daily Living Scale (mSE-ADL). The MDS-UPDRS is used to measure symptoms of PD. It has 4 parts: Part I, II, III, and IV. Each part measures different aspects of motor and non-motor symptoms. The mSE-ADL measures a participant's ability to perform daily activities or personal chores. Researchers will also learn more about the safety of BIIB122. They will check participants for adverse events. Adverse events are unwanted health problems that may or may not be caused by the study drug. The study will be done as follows: * Participants will be randomly assigned to take either BIIBB122 or placebo. A placebo looks like the study drug but contains no real medicine. * Neither the researchers nor the participants will know if the participants are receiving BIIB122 or placebo. * Participants will take BIIB122 or placebo tablets by mouth once a day. * The treatment period for each participant will last between 48 and 144 weeks. * There will be a safety follow-up period for 2 weeks after the last dose of BIIB122. * In total, participants will have up to 29 study visits. * Participants will stay in the study for at least 1 year, up to about 3 years.
