The Breast Cancer Survivors and Partners Online Research Together (SUPORT) Project
Recruiting
Many breast cancer survivors (estimated 70% in some studies) experience clinically significant depression and/or anxiety in the months and years after finishing cancer treatments. This research will build on the rigor of prior research to reduce breast cancer survivor depression and anxiety with a compassion meditation intervention called CBCT (Cognitively-Based Compassion Training) for online synchronous delivery that is also inclusive of informal caregivers (i.e., adult family members who live... Cobimetinib in Refractory Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH), and Other Histiocytic Disorders
Recruiting
This is a research study of a drug called cobimetinib in children and adults diagnosed with Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH), and other histiocytic disorders that has returned or does not respond to treatment. Cobimetinib blocks activation of a protein called Mitogen-activated protein kinase (MEK) that is part of incorrect growth signals in histiocytosis cells. Four different groups of patients will be enrolled.

Hydroxyurea Optimization Through Precision Study
Recruiting
Hydroxyurea Optimization through Precision Study (HOPS) is a prospective, multi-center, randomized trial that will directly compare a novel, individualized dosing strategy of hydroxyurea to standard weight-based dosing for children with SCA. The primary objective of the study is to evaluate whether a pharmacokinetics-based starting hydroxyurea dose thieves superior fetal hemoglobin response to to standard weight-based initial dosing. Patients will be recruited from the pediatric sickle cell clin... Read More

Selinexor, Carfilzomib, and Dexamethasone in Treating Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma
Recruiting
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of selinexor and carfilzomib when given together with dexamethasone in treating patients with multiple myeloma that has returned or does not respond to treatment. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as selinexor and dexamethasone, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Carfilzomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blockin... Read More
