This clinical trial evaluates a golf recreational exercise program for enhancing survivorship in underrepresented prostate cancer survivors. Golf is a multimodal recreational activity that requires participants to utilize all muscle groups to perform the golf swing, walk over hilly and uneven terrain, maintain balance during putting and squat-like tasks. Physical activity and exercise are beneficial to physical function, cognitive function, psychosocial health, and overall quality of life during prostate cancer survivorship. These aspects of health are impacted by prostate cancer treatment, especially androgen deprivation therapy. Additionally, supervised, group-based activity programs facilitate participation in physical activity. Researchers want to examine the changes in functional abilities, psychosocial health, and quality of life following participation in in a golf program designed for prostate cancer survivors. This is an open-label, multi-site study of apalutamide with carotuximab in patients who have progressed on androgen receptor signaling inhibitor (ARSI) therapy. This study will begin with a safety assessment in the first 10 subjects (part 1: Safety Lead-in). If the combination is deemed safe, the trial will proceed to the Phase II stage. The purpose of this study is to compare progression free survival (PFS) between patients receiving apalutamide and apalutamide + carotuximab using Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST 1.1) and Prostate Cancer Working Group 3. The secondary objectives are to describe adverse events related to the intervention, overall response rate (ORR), proportion of patients resistant to apalutamide that benefit from the addition of carotuximab, and to determine the ORR, radiographic PFS, and biochemical PFS in the overall population. This phase 3 study will be conducted in different countries all over the world. The purpose of this study is to compare how well Rina-S works against platinum-resistant ovarian cancer compared to chemotherapy drugs that are already approved and used for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. Treatment in this study could be Rina-S or it could be 1 of 4 indicated chemotherapy agents that are considered standard medical care. There is an equal (50:50) chance of getting Rina-S or an approved chemotherapy agent as treatment in this study. No one will know what treatment they are assigned to until the first dose. The study has 2 parts, Phase 1a and Phase 1b. The goal of Phase 1a is to gather safety, PK and initial efficacy data for 225Ac-ABD147 to better understand best doses for patients with small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (LCNEC) of the lung following platinum-based chemotherapy. An initial group of patients will also be given an experimental imaging agent called 111In-ABD147 to help understand where ABD147 goes in the body. The goal of this phase II study is to investigate the feasibility, toxicity and efficacy of a regimen incorporating a proven systemic regimen, carboplatin /paclitaxel, with conformal proton modality, followed by definitive surgery. In most combined-modality trials to date, chemotherapy regimens have included cisplatin, usually in conjunction with 5-fluorouracil. In designing the regimen, the investigators attempt to improve on the standard cisplatin/5-fluorouracil regimen in several ways. First, full-dose paclitaxel is added to the regimen. This agent has activity against advanced esophageal cancer and is also a potent radiosensitizer. Second, the substitution of carboplatin for cisplatin has resulted in reduced toxicity of various combination regimens similar to that used by CROSS trial and allows for easier administration in the outpatient setting.4 Third, for localized esophageal cancer, dose distribution patterns achievable with proton beam could potentially offer important clinical advantages relative to those achievable with x-rays (photons).19 Based on this, the investigators believe that this study should be conducted with the radiation modality that offers the best dosimetry achievable at our institution.
