A Study Evaluating the Feasibility and Compliance of Manual Lymphatic Drainage Comparing Indocyanine-Green (ICG) Guided vs. Traditional Guided in Patients Undergoing Axillary Node Dissection for the Treatment of Breast Cancer
Recruiting
Breast cancer is estimated to affect approximately 300,000 women in the US in 2023. Studies demonstrate that 1 in 5 will develop breast cancer related lymphedema secondary to the treatments that they receive. BCRL at this time has no cure, however early detection can prevent the progression to late stage BCRL. At this time a technique of arm massage, manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), is used for treatment. This study investigates a new method of MLD, which is guided by the individual patients' ly... Read More

COOL-IT-PRO: Cryoablation of Breast Cancer in Non-surgical Patients
Recruiting
This is a subject registry study of patients who undergo cryoablation for their breast cancer after being determined not to be surgical candidates. Data collected as part of this registry will be used to assess the safety of percutaneous ultrasound-guided cryoablation in this population as well as provide long-term follow-up of subjects who received cryoablation.

Genetic & Pathological Studies of BRCA1/BRCA2: Associated Tumors & Blood Samples
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to try to understand the biology of development of breast, ovarian, fallopian tube, peritoneal or endometrial cancer from persons at high genetic risk for these diseases. The influence of environmental factors on cancer development in individuals and families will be studied. The efficacy of treatments for these diseases will be evaluated.

Optimizing a mHealth Physical Activity Intervention With Mindful Awareness Lessons in Breast Cancer Survivors
Recruiting
The primary purpose of the present study is to apply MOST methodology to determine which types of social support and mindfulness training intervention components optimally increase MVPA adoption and maintenance in Breast Cancer Survivors (BCS) in a 24-week intervention with a 48-week follow-up. The researchers will also examine the effects of changes in MVPA on symptom burden, time spent in intensities of other activities (i.e. light and sedentary), and sleep quality and duration. Aim 1: To ide... Read More

A Phase 1/2 Clinical Trial to Assess the Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics and Preliminary Efficacy of ENV-501 in Patients With HER3-Expressing Solid Tumors
Recruiting
This study is a Phase 1/2, first-in-human, open-label, clinical trial to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and preliminary efficacy of ENV-501 in patients with advanced-stage, relapsed and/or refractory human epidermal growth factor receptor 3 (HER3)-expressing solid tumors. The study consists of 2 phases: a dose escalation phase (Phase 1) and a dose expansion phase (Phase 2). The primary objectives of Phase 1 are to characterize the overall safety and tolerability profile of in... Read More

Understanding and Addressing Disparities in Cancer Therapy Induced Inflammation and Associated Endothelial Dysfunction
Recruiting
Very little is understood about the off-target vascular mechanisms of anti-cancer drug toxicity and the impact of exercise on these changes. Much of what has been learned about molecular pathways regulating vascular endothelial function has been established by logical expansion of knowledge obtained through experimental studies (e.g., discovery of endothelium-derived relaxing factor/nitric oxide). Within the last 10 years technological advancements of -omics approaches, such as RNA-sequencing an... Read More

Exercise in Metastatic Breast Cancer: EMBody
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to study exercise in a novel population with indolent MBC (no progression on current therapy in prior 12 months and not receiving cytotoxic chemotherapy). The study team hypothesizes that delivering virtual, supervised, progressive intensity aerobic and resistance training exercise for 16 weeks in this population will significantly improve 1) cardiorespiratory fitness, functional status, and sarcopenia (low muscle mass), all established predictors of survival, and 2)...
