The purpose of this study is to understand the safety and effects of a combined influenza and COVID-19 vaccine. This combined vaccine is compared to separate vaccines for the protection against influenza and SARS-CoV-2. Influenza and COVID-19 are diseases that can spread easily from one person to another and cause body aches, fever, cough, and other symptoms. Giving both influenza and COVID-19 vaccines together against influenza and SARS-CoV-2 could provide great benefits to both patients and caregivers in terms of simple and easy care. Around 9000 participants will be assigned into 1 of 4 vaccination groups (Group A, B, C or D) by chance. Cohort 1: Around 4500 participants will be assigned by chance to one of the following: Group A:Influenza and COVID-19 combination A vaccine, given at the same time in the right arm and placebo (an injection consisting of just salt water and no medicines in it) in the left arm. Group B: COVID-19 vaccine, given at the same time to the right arm and licensed influenza vaccine in the left arm. Cohort 2: Around 4500 participants will be assigned by chance to one of the following: Group C: Influenza and COVID-19 combination B vaccine, given at the same time in the right arm and placebo in the left arm. Group D: COVID-19 vaccine, given at the same time in the right arm and licenced influenza vaccine in the left arm. All participants will receive 2 injections as per their assigned study group at Visit 1. The participants will be followed for about 6 months. During this time, the study will compare participant experiences when they receive a combined vaccination to when they receive separate vaccinations. Semaglutide is a medicine studied in patients with NASH. Semaglutide is a well-known medicine, which is already used by doctors to treat type 2 diabetes in many countries. Participants will either get semaglutide or a dummy medicine - which treatment participants get is decided by chance. Participants will need to inject themselves with medicine under the skin. Participants will need to do this once a week. The study will last for about 5 years. Participants will have up to 21 clinic visits and 9 phone calls with the clinical staff during the study. Some of the clinic visits may be spread over more than one day. Participants with other chronic liver diseases cannot take part in this study. Women cannot take part in the study if they are pregnant, breast-feeding or plan to become pregnant during the study period. Read Less

This is a parallel group, Phase 3, multinational, multicenter, randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled, 3-arm monotherapy study for treatment of participants diagnosed with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD), whose disease is not adequately controlled with topical prescription therapies or when those therapies are not advisable. The purpose of this study is to measure the efficacy and safety of treatment with amlitelimab solution for SC injection compared with placebo in participants with moderate to severe AD aged 12 years and older. Study details include: At the end of the treatment period, participants will have an option to enter a separate study: the blinded extension study EFC17600 (ESTUARY). For participants not entering the blinded extension Study EFC17600 (ESTUARY), the study duration will be up to 44 weeks including a 2 to 4-week screening, a 24-week randomized double-blind period, and a 16-week safety follow-up. For participants entering the blinded extension Study EFC17600 (ESTUARY), the study duration will be up to 28 weeks including a 2 to 4-week screening and a 24-week randomized double-blind period. This is a placebo-controlled, randomized, double-blind, parallel group, phase 3 multicenter study in subjects recently hospitalized for ACS and with the appropriate genetic profile. Subjects will provide informed consent before any study-specific procedures are performed. A separate informed consent will be allowed for an initial pre-screening genetic testing. Subjects meeting the AA genotype will then consent to the full study and confirmatory genetic testing as required. Subject enrollment may begin in the hospital and will continue following release from the hospital or may begin following release from hospital. Screening procedures may be performed at the time of the index ACS event or anytime thereafter, with the condition that randomization must occur within the mandated window (up to12 weeks after the index event). Subjects will be assessed based on their medical history. Those who are likely to qualify will undergo Genotype Assay testing to evaluate genetic determination for the presence of AA genotype. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) consists of deficits in social, communication, and cognitive development, repetitive and stereotypic behaviors. Many ASD patients show notably high levels of irritability, including verbal and physical aggression, self injury, and/or property destruction. Autistic infants tend to avoid eye contact and show little interest in others. This study will assess how safe and effective cariprazine is in treating pediatric participants (5 to 17 years of age) with ASD. Adverse events and change in disease activity will be assessed. Cariprazine is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of irritability due to ASD. This study is double-blinded means that neither the participants nor the study doctors will know who will be given cariprazine and who will be given placebo (does not contain treatment drug). Study doctors put the participants in 1 of the 2 groups, called treatment arms. Each group receives a different treatment. There is a 1 in 2 chance that participants will be assigned to placebo. Approximately 152 participants diagnosed with ASD will be enrolled in approximately 50 sites globally. Participants will receive oral capsules or oral solution of cariprazine or placebo once daily for 8-weeks and will undergo a 12-week safety follow-up period. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, checking for side effects and completing questionnaires. Read Less
