Investigators plan to perform a pilot study that aims to characterize the microbiome of human vitiligo patients with both active and stable disease and compare this to the microbiome of age and sex matched controls. TARGET-DERM is a longitudinal, observational study of adult and pediatric patients being managed for Atopic Dermatitis and other Immune-Mediated Inflammatory Skin Conditions (IMISC) in usual clinical practice. TARGET-DERM will create a research registry of patients with IMISC within academic and community real-world practices in order to assess the safety and effectiveness of current and future therapies. Black women experience one of the highest incidences of HIV among all subpopulations in the United States, but pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) use among Black cisgender women is very limited. The investigators will implement four strategies (provider training, patient education, EMR optimization, and PrEP navigation) at 12 community health clinics in the Midwest and South. This experiment will test the effects of healthy breakfast and morning exercise on children's focus and classroom behavior. Food and exercise each influence child focus, but little is known about their effects on classroom behavior and less about their combined effects. For one week (Monday-Friday), 10 children will be randomly assigned to receive healthy breakfast and morning exercise, 10 assigned to only healthy breakfast, 10 to only exercise, and 10 to neither. This randomized phase II trial studies how well surgical removal of the prostate and antiandrogen therapy with or without docetaxel work in treating men with newly diagnosed prostate cancer that has spread to other places in the body. Androgens can cause the growth of prostate cancer cells. Antiandrogen therapy may lessen the amount of androgens made by the body. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as docetaxel work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Surgery, antiandrogen therapy and docetaxel may work better in treating participants with prostate cancer. Read Less

A randomized trial of adjuvant Pembrolizumab following surgical resection versus observation following surgical resection in patients with stage I non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with primary tumors between 1-4 cm. This phase II trial studies the effects of temozolomide and atezolizumab as second or third line treatment for patients with small cell lung cancer that has spread to other places in the body (metastatic) or has come back (recurrent). Chemotherapy drugs, such as temozolomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving temozolomide and atezolizumab as second or third line treatment may help prolong survival in patients with small cell lung cancer. Read Less

This study is planned as a single arm clinical trial of tazemetostat in combination with bendamustine and rituximab with both a phase I and phase II component. All patients will receive tazemetostat twice daily on days 1-28 in combination with bendamustine 90 mg/m2 IV on days 1 and 2 and rituximab 375 mg/m2 IV on day 1 of a 28-day cycle for up to three cycles. The primary purpose of the present study is to apply MOST methodology to determine which types of social support and mindfulness training intervention components optimally increase MVPA adoption and maintenance in Breast Cancer Survivors (BCS) in a 24-week intervention with a 48-week follow-up. The researchers will also examine the effects of changes in MVPA on symptom burden, time spent in intensities of other activities (i.e. light and sedentary), and sleep quality and duration. Aim 1: To identify which components from four mHealth components under consideration for inclusion meaningfully contribute to improvements in MVPA at 24 and 48 weeks. Aim 2: To examine how changes in MVPA, as a result of the 4 components, may influence additional health behaviors and outcomes including: a) symptom burden (i.e. fatigue, depression, anxiety); b) time spent i n other activity intensities (i.e. light, sedentary time); and c) sleep duration and quality. Aim 3: To examine potential mediators (i.e. adherence, psychosocial factors such as post-traumatic growth, self-compassion, self-efficacy, and goal-setting) and moderators (i.e., age, time since diagnosis) of the four intervention components on MVPA. The diagnosis of hypertensive disease during pregnancy is predicated on strict blood pressure thresholds: 140/90 on at least two occasions measured four hours apart for both gestational hypertension and preeclampsia. An improvement in diagnostic accuracy of even 5mm Hg would be significant, as reflected by the US Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), the British Hypertension Society, the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) Working Group on Blood Pressure (BP) Monitoring, and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)consensus for validation of non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) devices during pregnancy. Given the known inaccuracies of upper arm cylindrical cuff measurements in morbidly obese patients, a conical cuff which provides more accurate measurements will translate into direct patient benefit via more informed diagnosis and management. Fewer women may be exposed to unnecessary treatment, preterm delivery, and/or cesarean section. Recognizing the increasing prevalence of morbid obesity and hypertensive disease amongst pregnant women in the United States, the identification of a more accurate non-invasive cuff is desperately needed. Increasing the accuracy of NIBP measurements on Labor and Delivery has the potential to directly impact the management of tens of thousands of morbidly obese pregnant women diagnosed with hypertensive disease in the United States every year. Establishing the level of agreement between conical forearm and cylindrical upper arm cuffs will shed light on the presence and magnitude of any disparity between measurement methods.
