In this clinical trial, symptom monitoring (interactive voice response \[IVR\] is compared to automated telephone symptom management \[ATSM\] and telephone interpersonal counseling \[TIPC\]) for reducing symptom burden and psychological distress (depressive and anxiety symptoms) among people receiving oral anti-cancer treatment. Symptoms are the number one driver of treatment interruptions and unscheduled health services use. To reduce the risk of these events, symptom monitoring and management are necessary. However, these services are not implemented routinely, especially in the community oncology settings. Further, depressive and anxiety symptoms are a key barrier to enacting symptom self-management strategies. IVR is a form of symptom monitoring where patients, when called, enter their symptom ratings over the phone. Their symptom summary is sent to their provider, and patients may be advised to reach out to their oncology provider, based on their symptoms. The ATSM intervention combines IVR assessments with a Symptom Management and Survivorship educational handbook with self-management strategies. Patients receiving ATSM enter their symptom ratings over the phone and have their symptoms reported to their provider, but patients are also directed to the handbook for strategies to manage elevated symptoms. Patients receiving ATSM who report being anxious, discouraged, or sad will also receive TIPC, which targets psychological distress and its connection to social support and interpersonal communication. Pediatric gliomas harboring BRAF-alterations, commonly BRAFV600 mutation or KIAA1549-BRAF fusion, are currently treated with either chemotherapy or mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK) inhibitors, such as, dabrafenib and/or trametinib. Unfortunately, some BRAF-altered gliomas can progress or have rebound growth after discontinuation of therapy. Data from BRAFV600E-mutant melanoma has shown potential synergy between MAPK inhibition and anti-programmed cell death 1 (anti-PD1) checkpoint blockade. Anti-PD1 therapy, such as, nivolumab can block the PD1 receptor on T cells, a marker of T cell exhaustion, allowing a continued or more robust anti-tumor immune response. Here, investigators will combine MAPK inhibition with anti-PD1 therapy in recurrent, refractory low grade BRAF-altered glioma and newly diagnosed or recurrent BRAF-altered or NF-altered high grade glioma. This is an observational study of 1000 participants to further define the nature of early chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in younger, at-risk individuals. The study has three main goals: * To use CT scan imaging to identify which smokers will develop COPD. * To identify biomarkers predictive of smokers that will develop COPD. * To determine if sputum (phlegm) can be analyzed to predict which smokers will develop COPD. Procedures (methods): All participants will undergo study related questionnaires assessing medical history, smoke exposure and use, medication use, social and behavioral health, pulmonary symptoms, food frequency, and will provide nasal swab, blood, stool, and urine samples, pulmonary function testing to determine function, sputum induction to provide a sputum sample for airway biospecimen analysis, and CT imaging of the lungs. In summary, standard of care postoperative chemoradiation for patients with newly diagnosed GBM does not routinely provide durable local control or prolonged overall survival. As discussed above it seems unlikely that patient outcomes will be significantly improved with radiation dose escalation given at the time of the EBRT boost. However, as most failures are local, improving LC could potentially improve the OS of patients. To do this, we propose a shift in the traditional radiation paradigm. This study will assess the feasibility and tolerability of adding GT radiation therapy as an upfront boost at the time of maximum safe resection, along with the backbone of the current standard of care approach, concomitant and adjuvant temozolomide +/- TTF, for patients with newly diagnosed GBM. GT, a novel brain brachytherapy device utilizing Cs-131 embedded in bioresorbable collagen tiles, offers a more sophisticated carrier and a shorter half-life radioisotope, Cs-131. Use of this device allows for radiation initiation at an earlier time point and a more rapid dose delivery and possibly more effective tumor control particularly for rapidly proliferating tumors such as GBM. Two prospective studies have demonstrated the safety and efficacy of re-irradiation with GT in patients with recurrent GBM. The overarching goal of this single-arm, open label phase 4 study is to determine the feasibility and tolerability of treating patients with GammaTile in combination with the Stupp Protocol and how to proceed with testing this treatment in a future, larger, randomized clinical study. The aims of the study are to demonstrate that the use of GammaTile at the time of surgery is well tolerated and does not delay the start of the Stupp protocol. The goal of this clinical trial is to improve cancer patient's health, survival, and quality of life by dispelling risk behaviors for Northwestern Memorial Health Care (NMHC) patients who are cancer survivors. The main question\[s\] STELLAR aims to answer are: * How best to combine three behavior interventions (physical activity promotion, smoking cessation, obesity treatment) into one treatment. * Evaluate the reach of the program. We will look at the number, proportion, and representativeness of participants in terms of disease characteristics, socioeconomic status, telehealth readiness, and race/ethnicity. * Evaluate the effects of the STELLAR program relative to enhanced usual care (information provision) on cancer risk behaviors, patient care access, care quality, and communication. Participants will be provided goals related to their physical activity, smoking, and/or weight loss and asked to track their health behaviors via an app, excel file, or on paper. At baseline, 3 months, 6 months and 9 months into the study, participants will provide survey responses and physical measurements like height and weight. Additionally, those in the Facilitated group will complete 12 telehealth sessions with study staff to discuss progress towards their study goals. Researchers will compare the Facilitated group to the Self Guided group to see if the Facilitated intervention group is able to reach more participants that enhances care only. Read Less
