Transradial access (TRA) is the preferred vascular access site for invasive coronary angiography. TRA is limited by blockage of the radial artery post-procedurally, preventing future use of TRA. This is referred to as radial artery occlusion (RAO) and occurs in \~5% of cases. While intraprocedural anticoagulation has been studied extensively to mitigate this complication, oral anticoagulation post-TRA has not. AliveCor (www.alivecor.com) has developed several electrocardiogram (ECG) devices that interface with iOS and Android smartphones and tablets via various Kardia apps. The current Kardia family of devices can measure single lead and six limb-lead ECGs, depending on the device. KardiaMobile, KardiaMobile 6L, and KardiaMobile Card have FDA clearance for ECG rhythm recording. A modified single-lead Kardia smartphone 12-lead ECG was previously validated in the multicenter ST LEUIS study for the diagnosis of ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) and Non-ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (NSTEMI). Recently, AliveCor developed a new device: AliveCor (AC) 12-lead (12L) ECG System to record simultaneously 4 leads of ECG and then generate complete 12-lead ECGs. A previous protocol at the University of Oklahoma involved 200 subjects with early prototypes of the AC 12L device with the specific aim to validate that it accurately generated 12-lead ECGs as compared to simultaneously acquired FDA-cleared 12-lead ECGs. The prototype version of the AliveCor 12L ECG System simultaneously measured four channels of ECG (leads I, II, V2, V4), calculated the remaining limb leads as is standard for 12-lead ECGs (Leads III, aVR, aVL, aVF) and synthesized the remaining 4 precordial ECG leads (V1, V3, V5, V6). This protocol will serve to validate the production version of the system against standard 12-Lead ECGs for the diagnosis of STEMI and NSTEMI in patients admitted to the Emergency Department or directly to the Cardiac Cath Lab for the evaluation of chest pain. It is anticipated that the waveforms for each of the 12 leads from the AC 12L ECG System will be highly correlated with the corresponding leads from the comparator commercially available 12-lead ECG devices used at participating sites. The purpose of this study is to clinically validate that the four-channel AC 12L ECG device can enable the diagnosis of STEMI and NSTEMI in a non-inferior manner to existing 12-lead ECG devices. This randomized phase III trial studies how well crizotinib works in treating patients with stage IB-IIIA non-small cell lung cancer that has been removed by surgery and has a mutation in a protein called anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK). Mutations, or changes, in ALK can make it very active and important for tumor cell growth and progression. Crizotinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking the ALK protein from working. Crizotinib may be an effective treatment for patients with non-small cell lung cancer and an ALK fusion mutation. Read Less

This protocol is a research study involving human subjects diagnosed with Congenital Heart Defects/Disease (CHD). The Co-Op @ HeartWorks is a cooperative between the research platform at HeartWorks and members of the CHD community. Individuals choosing to participate will be referred to as 'members' of the co-op. This study aims to create a database of members medical journey data to inform future clinical innovation and design of clinical trials which address the needs of the members. The knowledge generated from this study will help advance the care of CHD patients through the deliberate action of The Co-Op @ HeartWorks members. This is a first-in-human study evaluating the anti-T cell immunoglobulin and mucin containing protein-3 (TIM-3) antibody TSR-022. The study will be conducted in 2 parts with Part 1 consisting of dose escalation and Part 2 dose expansion. Part 1 will determine the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of TSR-022 and Part 2 will evaluate the antitumor activity of TSR-022 in combination with TSR-042 or docetaxel and as monotherapy. Read Less

The purpose of this research study is to learn about the best approach to sample patients with known or suspected Barrett's esophagus (BE) by comparing the standard Seattle biopsy protocol to sampling using wide area transepithelial sampling (WATS3D). Barrett's esophagus is a common condition that is used to spot patients at increased risk of developing a type of cancer in the esophagus (swallowing tube) called esophageal adenocarcinoma. The 5-year survival rate is as low as 18% for patients who get esophageal adenocarcinoma, but the rate may be improved if the cancer is caught in its early stages. Barrett's esophagus can lead to dysplasia, or precancerous changes, which occurs when cells look abnormal but have not developed into cancer. If the abnormal cells increase from being slightly abnormal (low-grade dysplasia), to being very abnormal (high-grade dysplasia), the risk of developing cancer (esophageal adenocarcinoma) goes up. Therefore, catching dysplasia early is very important to prevent cancer. Endoscopic surveillance is a type of procedure where endoscopists run a tube with a light and a camera on the end of it down a patients throat and remove a small piece of tissue. The piece of tissue, called a biopsy, is about the size of the tip of a ball-point pen and is checked for abnormal cells and cancer cells. Patients are being asked to be in this research study because they have been diagnosed with BE or suspected to have BE, and will need an esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD). Patients with BE undergo sampling using the Seattle biopsy protocol during which samples are obtained from the BE in a four quadrant fashion every 2 cm along with target biopsies from any abnormal areas within the BE. Another sampling approach is WATS3D which utilizes brushings from the BE. While both of these procedures are widely accepted approaches to sampling patients with BE during endoscopy, there is not enough research to show if one is better than the other. Participants in this study will undergo sampling of the BE using both approaches (Seattle biopsy protocol and WATS-3D); the order of the techniques will be randomized. DF9001-001 is a study of a new molecule that targets natural killer (NK) cells and T-cell activation signals to specific receptors on cancer cells. The study will occur in two phases. The first phase will be a dose escalation phase, enrolling patients with various types of solid tumors that express epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). The second phase will include a dose expansion using the best dose selected from the first phase of the study. Cancers attract myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) that prevent our own immune responses from destroying the cancer. This study will be the first study to begin to determine if the newly discovered drug SX-682 can block cancers from attracting MDSCs. This first study will enroll participants with melanoma, as melanoma cancer has been shown to be able to attract MDSCs. The study will begin to determine if SX-682 is a safe and effective treatment of melanoma. It is thought that SX-682 will block MDSCs from going to the cancer, and thus will allow a patient's own immune system to attack the cancer. The first participants enrolled in the study will receive for 21 days SX-682 as monotherapy. After 21 days participants will receive pembrolizumab therapy (an approved immunotherapy for melanoma) in combination with SX-682 for up to approximately 2 years. Once the safe dose level of SX-682 in combination with pembrolizumab is determined, the remaining participants will be enrolled at the highest safe dose level of SX-682, in combination with pembrolizumab. These participants will receive the combination therapy and be evaluated in the study for approximately 2 years. Read Less
