Assess the feasibility of recruiting, enrolling and randomizing patients with concussion symptoms and neck pain to receive manual therapy and cervical rehabilitative exercises in addition to standard concussion treatment. In the usual care workflow provided at the participating concussion clinic, cervical spine rehab is not typically introduced until after week 4. The rationale is that neck pain is often a self-limiting condition that may resolve spontaneously, without the need for specific cervical spine rehab. This study is chiefly focused on feasibility aims that revolve around developing changes to barriers in workflow issues at the participating concussion clinic, that would allow for earlier introduction of cervical spine rehab. The study, known as the Peer suppoRt for adolescents and Emerging adults with Sickle cell pain: promoting ENgagement in Cognitive behavioral thErapy (PRESENCE), aims to determine the effectiveness of digital CBT in reducing pain, opioid use, and healthcare utilization among AYAs with SCD. It also seeks to understand the role of personalized peer support in enhancing engagement and outcomes of digital CBT interventions. By leveraging existing infrastructure for delivering virtual peer support interventions, tailored digital CBT programs for individuals with SCD, and partnerships with CBOs, the study aims to provide valuable insights into the feasibility and effectiveness of digital CBT as a pain management strategy for this vulnerable population. This trial is being completed to compare two commonly used options to treat pain after surgery. Participants that undergo gallbladder removal, hernia repair, and breast lump removal will be eligible to enroll. Eligible participants will be randomized to 1 of 2 groups of medications (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDS) plus acetaminophen or low dose opioids plus acetaminophen). The purpose of the current exploratory clinical trial is to determine the effect of oral ingestion of metformin (OIM) in non-diabetic patients with chronic Achilles tendon pain. The trial has two aims; 1) to assess the effects of OIM treatment on tendon pain, and 2) to determine the effects of OIM capsules on tendon healing and repair. Twenty participants will be treated with metformin capsules for 16 weeks combined with a home exercise program. Endometriosis is a common cause of pelvic pain in women which has been historically under-studied and under-diagnosed. The goal of this research is to pilot-test the feasibility and acceptability of a manualized, single-session brief mindfulness-based intervention (BMBI) among participants with endometriosis-related chronic pelvic pain (ECPP) who undergo surgical treatment, and gather preliminary data necessary for future studies assessing BMBI's impact on outcomes in surgically-treated ECPP. This pilot study will enroll 10-20 adult participants with ECPP to receive either a BMBI adjunctive to treatment as usual (TAU; n=5-10) or education with TAU (n=5-10) prior to their ECPP surgery. The central hypothesis is the BMBI is feasible to deliver pre-operatively, acceptable to patients, and may help improve acute post-surgical outcomes through more adaptive stress coping and pain processing, enabled by mindfulness training. The primary goal of this clinical trial is to learn if PIPE-791 is safe and well-tolerated in adults with chronic osteoarthritis pain (COAP) or chronic low back pain (CLBP). The study will also explore whether PIPE-791 lowers pain in people with COAP or CLBP. Subjects will: * Complete a washout period to stop their current pain medications. * Take a daily dose of PIPE-791 or placebo for 4 weeks, then reverse treatment assignment for another 4 weeks. * Record pain levels and track dosing in a daily e-diary. * Visit the clinic for checkups and lab tests throughout the study. * Complete phone assessments during the treatment periods.
