Accelerated Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for People With Schizophrenia Treated With Clozapine
Recruiting
In this study, the investigators will examine whether a type of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation called accelerated intermittent theta burst stimulation (iTBS) can augment neurocognition in individuals who receive treatment with clozapine. Following a baseline evaluation and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), participants will undergo a session of iTBS +MRI and session of sham delivery + MRI. The order for these sessions will be blinded and randomized. The investigators predict that a... Read More

Post-Intensive Care Transitional Care, Rehabilitation, and Family-Support
Recruiting
The goal of this randomized control trial is to test an intervention designed to improve patient and family outcomes after critical illness compared to usual care. The intervention, called Post-Intensive Care Transitions, Rehabilitation and Family Support (PIC-TRFS) combines four elements: (1) health management; (2) rehabilitation; (3) social support; (4) care coordination. All patients and families enrolled in this study will have spent at least 48 hours in an ICU, be at risk for long-term func... Read More

Triheptanoin for Children With Primary-Specific Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Complex (PDC) Deficiency
Recruiting
This is a medical research study to test a medication in patients with a disease called Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Complex (PDC) Deficiency. The medication is triheptanoin, which is currently FDA approved for the treatment of Long-Chain Fatty Acid Oxidation Disorders. Previous research suggests that triheptanoin may also be effective in the treatment PDC Deficiency. This study will investigate the safety and efficacy (how well it works) of triheptanoin in patients with PDC Deficiency.

Liver Volume Variation Effect on SBRT Planning and Delivery for Upper Abdominal Malignancies
Recruiting
Standard planning constraints for liver SBRT incorporate strict dose-volume limits for normal liver parenchyma to minimize the risk of radiation-induced liver disease. The presence of diurnal and fasting/fed variations in liver volume therefore carry substantial potential for introducing errors into estimates of dose-volume distribution within normal liver tissue, as well as affecting day-to-day setup fidelity and organ alignment for treatment. This prospective study will examine how diurnal and... Read More

Characterization And Clinical Outcomes of AA Patients Treated With Ritlecitinib
Recruiting
Alopecia areata (AA) is a chronic relapsing autoimmune disease characterized by nonscarring hair loss affecting children, adolescents, and adults across all ages, races, and genders. AA primarily affects the scalp; however, it also can affect nails, eyelashes, eyebrows, and other hair follicles on the patient's body. The 3 main types of AA are: * Patchy alopecia (PA), as seen in 90% of clinical diagnoses * Alopecia totalis (AT), that affects all scalp hair * Alopecia universalis (AU), involving... Read More

Functional Recovery After Total Knee Arthroplasty
Recruiting
The goal of this observational study is to learn about patients' recoveries after receiving total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The main questions it aims to answer are: Does robotic-assisted TKA have improved perceived recovery when compared to conventional TKA? Does robotic-assisted TKA lead to improved functional recovery when compared to conventional TKA? Researchers will compare if robotic-assisted versus conventional procedures lead to different recovery speeds. Participants will answer ques... Read More
