EYE-RES-103 is a randomized, double masked pivotal study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of 2 dose levels of EYE103 in comparison with the active control, ranibizumab, in patients with diabetic macular edema (DME). In the first year, all 3 treatment groups will be treated every 4 weeks with either EYE103 or ranibizumab. Beginning at Year 2, the frequency of treatment for participants will shift based on a personalized treatment interval algorithm. Approximately 960 participants will be entered in the study. This research study evaluates the effects of an FDA-approved medication Gabapentin in individuals with Bipolar Disorder who smoke marijuana. Participants in the study will will be assigned to take either Gabapentin or a matched placebo. Study medication will be taken for 17 days. There will be 5 study visits, with 2 MRI brain imaging scans completed. Questionnaires and clinical interview measures will be completed at study visits along with consistent assessment of potential side effects from study medication. Read Less

This study will consist of patients ages 6-18 who are undergoing a surgery on the hard or soft palate of the mouth (palatoplasty), with removal of bone from the front of the hip (anterior iliac bone graft harvesting). The patients will be randomized to receive either a unilateral QL block by an anesthesiologist, or local anesthetic infiltration at the surgical incision by the surgeon. The primary aim will be assessing post-operative pain in the first 48 hours after surgery. Secondary outcomes will include pain medication use in the first 48 hours after surgery, block resolution time, and evaluating any complications associated with the QL block or local anesthetic infiltration. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if a brief task completed on a smartphone can reduce alcohol use and risky sexual behavior among women between the ages of 18 and 25 who have a history of experiencing sexual assault or an unwanted sexual experience. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does the smartphone task change approach biases for alcohol and condom-related images? * Does the smartphone task reduce alcohol use and risky sexual behavior? Researchers will compare the smartphone task to a sham control to see if the smartphone task changes biases and behavior. Participants will: * Complete a baseline assessment battery of questionnaires * Complete either the intervention smartphone task or the sham smartphone task on four consecutive days. * Complete a follow-up assessment one week after finishing the four tasks * Complete a three-month follow-up Read Less

This is a multicenter randomized double-blind placebo-controlled Phase 2 study of an oral combination of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) compared to placebo over 12 weeks. This study is designed to test the hypothesis that treatment with an oral combination of THC/CBD will reduce agitation hospice care-eligible patients with agitation and dementia as measured by the Cohen Mansfield Agitation Inventory (CMAI) when compared to placebo at 2 weeks. This study will enroll approximately 120 participants of any gender at least 40 years of age who are hospice care-eligible with agitation and dementia (HAD). Participants will be randomized (50:50) to either active study drug (T2:C100) or placebo. The double-blind period of this study is 12 weeks. Cancer is a condition where cells in a specific part of body grow and reproduce uncontrollably. The purpose of this study is to assess adverse events and change in disease activity when ABBV-400 is given in combination with Fluorouracil, Folinic Acid, and Bevacizumab to adult participants to treat unresctable metastatic colorectal cancer. ABBV-400 is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of unresectable metastatic colorectal cancer. Fluorouracil, folinic acid, and bevacizumab (FFB) is an approved drug for the treatment of unresectable metastatic colorectal cancer. Study doctors put the participants in groups called treatment arms. Each treatment arm receives a different dose of ABBV-400 in combination with FFB in escalating doses on two different schedules (safety lead in), followed by low or high doses of ABBV-400 in combination with FFB or fluorouracil, folinic acid, irinotecan, and bevacizumab (standard of care \[SOC\]) \[dose optimization\] on its own, ending with low or high doses of ABBV-400 in combination with FFB for continued dose optimization and expansion. Approximately 280 adult participants with unresectable metastatic colorectal cancer will be enrolled in the study in 65 sites worldwide. In the safety lead in, participants will receive escalating intravenous (IV) ABBV-400 in combination with IV FFB on two different schedules. During the dose optimization participants will receive IV ABBV-400 in combination with IV FFB at low or high doses determined in the safety lead in. The dose optimization arm will also include a comparator cohort in which participants will receive SOC. During the dose optimization and expansion stage, participants will receive IV ABBV-400 in combination with IV FFB at low or high doses that have been determined from the previous stages. The study will run for a duration of approximately 3 years. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at an approved institution (hospital or clinic). The effect of the treatment will be frequently checked by medical assessments, blood tests, questionnaires and side effects. Read Less

The purpose of this clinical study is to determine the efficacy and safety of a new oral cladribine formulation in participants with Generalized Myasthenia Gravis (gMG) in comparison to placebo. It will also investigate the sustained efficacy, the need for retreatment, and the long-term safety of oral cladribine in gMG. An additional component is included to characterize the Pharmacokinetics (PK) of the new cladribine formulation in gMG participants.
