I-SPY TRIAL: Neoadjuvant and Personalized Adaptive Novel Agents to Treat Breast Cancer
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to further advance the ability to practice personalized medicine by learning which new drug agents are most effective with which types of breast cancer tumors and by learning more about which early indicators of response (tumor analysis prior to surgery via magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images along with tissue and blood samples) are predictors of treatment success.

Testing the Use of Fulvestrant and Binimetinib Targeted Treatment for NF1 Mutation in Hormone Receptor-Positive Metastatic Breast Cancer (A ComboMATCH Treatment Trial)
Recruiting
This phase II ComboMATCH treatment trial compares the usual treatment alone (fulvestrant) to using binimetinib plus the usual treatment in patients with hormone receptor positive breast cancer that has spread from where it first started to other places in the body (metastatic) and has an NF1 genetic change. Fulvestrant is a hormonal therapy that binds to estrogen receptors in tumor cells, resulting in estrogen receptor destruction and decreased estrogen binding, which may inhibit the growth of e... Avapritinib for the Treatment of CKIT or PDGFRA Mutation-Positive Locally Advanced or Metastatic Malignant Solid Tumors
Recruiting
This phase II trial studies the effect of avapritinib in treating malignant solid tumors that have a genetic change (mutation) in CKIT or PDGFRA and have spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced) or other places in the body (metastatic). Avapritinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Avapritinib may help to control the growth of malignant solid tumors.

Targeted Therapy Directed by Genetic Testing in Treating Patients With Locally Advanced or Advanced Solid Tumors, The ComboMATCH Screening Trial
Recruiting
This ComboMATCH patient screening trial is the gateway to a coordinated set of clinical trials to study cancer treatment directed by genetic testing. Patients with solid tumors that have spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced) or have spread to other places in the body (advanced) and have progressed on at least one line of standard systemic therapy or have no standard treatment that has been shown to prolong overall survival may be candidates for these trials. Genetic tests loo... Read More
