This study is a Phase 1b/2, dose-escalation, randomized, multicenter study to assess the efficacy, safety, tolerability, and PK of ivaltinostat in combination with capecitabine and capecitabine monotherapy in patients with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma whose disease has not progressed on a first line fluoropyrimidine-based chemotherapy (e.g., FOLFIRINOX). In Phase 1b, 3 dose levels of ivaltinostat will be studied in combination with a fixed dose of capecitabine to determine the RP2D of ivaltinostat. In Phase 2, patients will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to the combination of ivaltinostat and capecitabine or to capecitabine monotherapy. A fixed dose for capecitabine 1000 mg/m2 orally twice daily will be taken on Days 1 to 14, and the RP2D of ivaltinostat will be administered intravenously once a week for 2 weeks, followed by 1 week of rest. One cycle consists of 21 days. Tumor response during study treatment will be assessed every 6 weeks up to Cycle 10, then every 9 weeks afterwards using RECIST v1.1 criteria. Read Less

This study is open to adults between 18 and 65 with a type of depression (major depressive disorder) for whom previous treatments for depression did not work. The purpose of the study is to find out whether a medicine called BI 1569912 helps people with depression. Participants continue their standard therapy throughout the study. Participants are put into 4 groups by chance. 3 of the 4 groups take different doses of BI 1569912. 1 group takes placebo. Placebo tablets looks like BI 1569912 but do not contain any medicine. Participants take the tablets once a day for 6 weeks. Participants are in the study for about 2 to 4 and a half months. During this time, they visit the study site at least 6 times. At the visits, doctors ask participants about their symptoms. The participants answer questions about their depression symptoms. The results are compared between the groups. The doctors also regularly check the general health of participants. Read Less

The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate if the study drug, CIN-103, can help reduce the symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome with predominant diarrhea (IBS-D) in adult patients. The main questions it aims to answer are: To evaluate the efficacy of CIN-103 on symptoms of IBS-D when given to patients with IBS-D compared to a placebo. The purpose of the study is to learn about the safety and amount of sisunatovir in the blood of infants and children up to age 60 months. These children have Lower Respiratory Tract Infection (LRTI) caused by Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). LRTI is the infection to the lower airways such as lungs. This study will help inform the amount of sisunatovir to be used in future studies of sisunatovir in children. This study is seeking for participants who: Are 1 day to less than or equal to 60 months of age weigh more than or equal to 2.5 kilograms to less than or equal to 23 kilograms. Have been tested to have RSV by medical tests. show signs of LRTI. All participants in the study will receive many amounts of sisunatovir or placebo. Placebo is a pill that does not have any medicine in it. Up to 7 visits are required for the study. Some of these visits include checking participants health over the phone and/or a visit at home. The study will compare the experiences of infants and children receiving sisunatovir to identify the amount of sisunatovir to be used in future studies in infants and children. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to understand the safety and effectiveness of the study drug, Dysport® when compared with placebo in preventing episodic migraine. A migraine is a headache with severe throbbing pain or a pulsating sensation, usually on one side of the head, and is often accompanied by feeling or being sick and a sensitivity to bright lights and sound. Episodic Migraine is defined as having less than 15 days of headache a month with at least 6 days with migraine headaches. Migraines are caused by a series of events which cause the brain to get stimulated / activated, which results in the release of chemicals that cause pain. Dysport® is a formulation of Botulinum toxin type A (BoNT-A), a medication that stops the release of these chemical messengers. The study will consist of 3 periods: A 'screening period' of 6 to 12 weeks to assess whether the participant can take part to the study and requires 1 visit. A first Treatment Phase of 24 weeks. On Day 1 and at Week 12 of the first Treatment Phase, participants will receive injections into various muscles across the head, neck, face and shoulders. The injections will contain either a dose "A" or a dose ''B'' of Dysport® or a placebo (an inactive substance or treatment that looks the same as, and is given in the same way as, an active drug or intervention/treatment being studied). Participants will make 4 visits to the clinic in person and have 4 remote (online) visits. A second Treatment Phase of 24 weeks (extension phase). At Week 24 and at Week 36, all participants will get Dysport® (dose "A" or dose "B"). There will be 3 in person visits and 4 remote visits. Participants will need to complete an e-diary and questionnaires throughout the study. Participants will undergo blood samplings, urine collections, physical examinations, and clinical evaluations.
