This is a phase 1, multicenter, open-label, multiple-ascending dose study to evaluate the safety, pharmacokinetics and clinical activity of KPG-818 in subjects with hematological malignancies. Approximately 30 patients will be enrolled for dose escalation of 4 dose levels. Indication: Hematological malignancies (multiple myeloma [MM], mantle cell lymphoma [MCL], diffuse large B-cell lymphoma [DLBCL], adult T-cell leukemia-lymphoma [ATL], and indolent non Hodgkin lymphomas such as follicular lymphoma [FL] and chronic lymphocytic leukemia [CLL]/small lymphocytic lymphoma [SLL]). This is a multinational, multi-center, observational, prospective, longitudinal disease registry designed to collect data on participants with cold agglutinin disease (CAD) or cold agglutinin syndrome (CAS). Among them, a minimum of 30 patients with CAD treated with sutimlimab are expected to take part in the sutimlimab cohort study. Patients with CAD who have been enrolled in previous sutimlimab clinical trials (e.g., BIVV009-01/LTS16214 [NCT02502903,CAD patients], BIVV009-03/EFC16215 [NCT03347396], and BIVV009-04/EFC16216 [NCT03347422]) and who either completed or discontinued the corresponding clinical trial are eligible to participate in the registry. This study measures the levels of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with stage II-III rectal cancer before, during, and after treatment to find out if the presence or absence of ctDNA in patient's blood using the Signatera test can be used to gauge how different treatments may affect rectal cancer. ctDNA is DNA from the rectal cancer that is circulating in the blood. Hypertension is a significant contributor to poor cardiovascular outcomes. Self-management support tools can increase patient behaviors to improve blood pressure. The investigators created a clinical decision support app, called COACH, to integrate home blood pressure data and goals into EHR reporting and workflow with communications informed by behavioral economics principles to support shared decision-making. Suboptimal postpartum health outcomes in the US, including low rates of lactation and high rates of postpartum depression, contribute to high rates of perinatal mortality and morbidity as well as long-term and intergenerational health outcomes. Black birthing parents and infants are at the highest risk, with the lowest rates of lactation and the highest rates of postpartum depression. Yet most interventions to support lactation and postpartum mental health are based on models of care that are unrepresentative of Black and global majority communities. The principal investigator's previous Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) using soft infant carriers to increase parent-infant physical contact was effective in increasing lactation and decreasing postpartum depression in a sample of Latinx postpartum parents. Infant carrying, or "babywearing," is a culturally relevant prevention strategy based on models of parenting representative of Black and global majority communities. In this study, the investigators use strategies from implementation research and clinical effectiveness research to assess an infant carrier intervention within a community-based, culturally specific perinatal home visiting program for Black birthing parents. The long head of the biceps (LHB) tendon is thought to be a common source of shoulder pain and dysfunction in patients with rotator cuff pathology. Tenotomy and tenodesis have been shown to produce favourable and comparable results in treating LHB lesions, but a controversy still exists regarding the treatment of choice. Some suggest that tenotomy should be reserved for older, low-demand patients, while tenodesis should be performed in younger patients and those who engage in heavy labor. Proponents of tenotomy suggest that this is a technically easy procedure that leads to easy rehabilitation and fast return to activity with a low complication and reoperation rate. However, those who support LHB tenodesis list good preservation of elbow flexion and supination strength, improvement of functional scores, elimination of pain, and avoidance of cosmetic deformity as benefits of the procedure. Alternatively, the LHB can be maintained in the joint without tenodesis or tenotomy. In fact, it has not been clearly shown that LHB tenodesis or tenotomy leads to improved outcomes compared to leaving the biceps tendon intact. Read Less

Recently, published literature has reported that performing a descemetorhexis in combination with topical Rho kinase (ROCK) inhibitor therapy was successful in clearing edematous corneas in patients with Fuchs Endothelial Corneal Dystrophy. Ripasudil hydrochloride hydrate( Glanatec ophthalmic solution 0.4%), a potent ROCK inhibitor, has been approved in Japan since 2014 for ocular use in the treatment of glaucoma. Ripasudil acts as an IOP-lowering drug by affecting aqueous outflow through the trabecular meshwork and Schlemm's canal. The goal of this study is to test the potential benefits of Ripasudil therapy administered after Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK) surgery. We believe that performing a standard DMEK surgery in combination with Ripasudil treatment in patients with Fuchs Endothelial Corneal Dystrophy could accelerate endothelial cell healing and clear edematous corneas faster, with less post-operative complications. This trial studies the implementation of web-based decision support tools for patients with atypical hyperplasia or lobular carcinoma in situ and healthcare providers. Decision support tools are designed to improve informed choice about breast cancer chemoprevention. Recognizing barriers and facilitators that can influence the adoption of decision support tools at recruitment centers may help researchers learn how to best implement them into clinical practice. Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a significant problem for U.S. Hispanic children. Compared to non-Hispanic children, Hispanic children have higher long-term disability and lower health related quality of life, even though differences are not present at hospital discharge. Rehabilitation decreases disability, but needs timely initiation, and long treatments in hospitals, community healthcare facilities and schools. Parents play a key role in their child's recovery. Hispanic parents face additional barriers to initiate and maintain outpatient treatments. They report knowledge gaps in TBI-education, community, and school support systems; language and health literacy barriers. The investigators developed, a bilingual bicultural theory-based program for Hispanic families consisting of Brain Injury Education and outpatient care Navigation (1st BIEN). It integrates in-person education enriched by video content delivered through mobile phones, with navigation during transitions to outpatient care and school return. The pilot established feasibility and acceptability of the program. This randomized control trial will determine efficacy to maintain long-term adherence to rehabilitation and reduce disability. It will enroll 150 parent-child dyads: children (6-17 y), with mild-complicated, moderate-severe TBI in 5 centers in Washington, Texas, Dallas, Utah and Oregon and their parents. Intervention group parents receive: One in-person education session, plus bi-weekly videos tailored to the child's TBI and therapies; and, 3-months of bilingual outpatient care navigation. Attention control parents receive one in person-education session, monthly well-child texts and usual institutional follow up care. Primary outcome is treatment adherence at 6 months post-discharge measured by percentage of follow-up appointments attended during the prescribed time at hospitals, and community care facilities. Secondary outcomes are functional status of the child using PROMIS parental report measures; and parental health literacy, self-efficacy, and mental health at 3, 6, and 12 months after discharge. Child's academic performance will be assessed using school records. The study evaluates a flexible and scalable intervention using mobile phones to aid transitions of care, improve treatment adherence and TBI outcomes. It addresses the needs of an understudied population and can serve as a model for TBI family centered care for at risk groups. Read Less

This is a first-in-human study evaluating the anti-T cell immunoglobulin and mucin containing protein-3 (TIM-3) antibody TSR-022. The study will be conducted in 2 parts with Part 1 consisting of dose escalation and Part 2 dose expansion. Part 1 will determine the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of TSR-022 and Part 2 will evaluate the antitumor activity of TSR-022 in combination with TSR-042 or docetaxel and as monotherapy. Read Less
