Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) on IVF Embryos and Individual Patients
Recruiting
This research project aims to utilise recent advances in whole genome sequencing of preimplantation genetic diagnosis embryos to investigate the impact of paternal age on de novo mutation rates in IVF embryos. Embryos that are deemed unsuitable for transfer following preimplantation genetic testing for monogenic/single gene disorders (PGT-M) due to the detection of genetic abnormalities will be utilized for this study. These embryos will undergo re-biopsy, and both the biopsied samples as well a... Read More

Part II: Granulocyte-Colony Stimulating Factor Adjunct Therapy for Biliary Atresia
Recruiting
The Investigators propose to test the hypothesis that GCSF enhances the clinical outcome of biliary atresia in a multi-institutional Phase 2 trial to prospectively evaluate the safety and efficacy of GCSF in each of the 2 groups of newly diagnosed BA patients: KBA (i.e., Kasai-operated) or NoK (i.e., patients who did not undergo Kasai surgery). Subjects who participate in the trial will be followed for 2 years.

Adoptive Cell Therapy Using Cancer Specific CD8+ Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocytes in Adult Patients With Solid Tumors
Recruiting
The subject of this study is the adoptive transfer of selected autologous tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL) after in vitro expansion for the treatment of solid tumor malignancies. The TIL selection process is based on evidence showing that CD8+ TIL which co-express both CD39 and CD103 harbor the bulk of tumor-reactivity and that the remaining CD8 TIL is mainly composed of non-tumor reactive bystander cells. All of the expanded TIL that are produced (1-40 billion are expected) will be delivere... Read More
