Fronto-Temporal Dementia Research Study
Recruiting
The aim of this study is to better understand the genetics of FTD, in order to
empower researchers with the data they need to potentially identify treatment
options. Help researchers accelerate their understanding of Frontotemporal
Dementia and get access to free, at-home genetic testing and genetic counseling
before and after your test.

Clinical Research for Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency–Associated Liver Disease
Recruiting
The Redwood Study is currently enrolling adults 18 to 75 years of age with Alpha-1
Liver Disease. The purpose of the study is to evaluate how safe and effective an
investigational study drug is compared to a placebo (both groups will receive
injections, but the placebo contains no active medication) in the treatment of liver
disease. If you or any of your family members have a confirmed or suspected
diagnosis of Alpha-1 Liver Disease, you may be eligible.

TARGET Intracranial Aneurysm Coiling Registry
Recruiting
The purpose of this prospective registry is to collect real world, post-marketing data on the use of Stryker Target® 360,Target® 2D, and 2nd generation Target® Nano coils for the embolization of ruptured or unruptured intracranial saccular aneurysms. Up to 300 patients (150 in the TARGET 360°/Helical arm and 150 in the New NANO arm) presenting with intracranial aneurysms suitable for coil embolization will be enrolled at up to 20 sites. A post hoc analysis comparing Target® 360° and Target® 2D c... Read More

Evaluation of Local Anesthetic at Incision Site
Recruiting
Patient will have usual appendectomy surgery with an injection of local or saline at incision site either before or after the incision at random.
The clinical hypothesis of this trial is that pediatric patients who undergo a local anesthetic pre-incisional and/or post-incisional will reduce the amount of postoperative pain and therefore reduce the amount of analgesics required to keep the patient satisfied.
Primary: To determine if local anesthetic reduces postoperative pain. Secondary: To ass... Read More

Cryoablation of Small Breast Tumors in Early Stage Breast Cancer
Recruiting
This study examines the use of cryoablation as an alternative to surgery in the treatment of early stage invasive breast cancer. The hypothesis is that cryoablation will complete ablation and destroy the tumor in a selected population of women who may otherwise be adequately treated with surgery.

Recruiting
The main objective of this research project is to provide a comprehensive clinical database of patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD) and other forms of dementia, individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and age-matched normal controls. The study will also attempt to identify cognitively normal individuals at genetically defined risk for Alzheimer's disease through genetic screening.
