This study evaluates the postoperative outcomes of patients who are admitted to the Mayo Clinic Florida Care Hotel after mastectomy and tissue expander placement. At Mayo Clinic Florida, patients receiving low risk surgeries are often admitted to the hospital overnight for observation. A new model of delivering patient care was created at the Mayo Clinic Florida coined the "Care Hotel." This is a temporal, voluntary accommodation that offers patients a comfortable environment to receive nursing care before or after hospital treatment with in-person daytime monitoring and 24-hour virtual tele-monitoring in a hotel setting. This study evaluates post operative complications in patients who underwent mastectomy followed by tissue expander reconstruction and were admitted to the Care Hotel for overnight observation compared to the standard hospital admission and those who are discharged home. This is a multi-center, randomized, double-masked, active-comparator-controlled, Phase 3 study in a broad participant population (treatment-naïve and treatment-experienced) with neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration (nAMD). The study will evaluate a single intravitreal (IVT) injection of Ixo-vec compared to an active comparator. The primary endpoint of this study is the mean change in best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) of Ixo-vec compared to an active comparator measured at an average of Weeks 52 and 56. This study aims to evaluate the ocular and systemic safety, tolerability and efficacy of RO7446603 in participants with diabetic macular edema (DME). The study consists of 2 segments: Phase I (Parts 1-4) and Phase II (Part 5). Phase I investigated the safety of RO7446603 following a single and multiple intravitreal (IVT) doses as monotherapy or co-administered with IVT aflibercept or IVT faricimab (in separate injections). Phase II will investigate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK) and efficacy of two dose levels of RO7446603 in combination with faricimab, with the two drugs co-mixed and administered as a single IVT injection, compared to faricimab alone. This phase III trial studies how well active surveillance help doctors to monitor subjects with low risk germ cell tumors for recurrence after their tumor is removed. When the germ cell tumor has spread outside of the organ in which it developed, it is considered metastatic. Chemotherapy drugs, such as bleomycin, carboplatin, etoposide, and cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. This phase III trial compares the effect of open thoracic surgery (thoracotomy) to thoracoscopic surgery (video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery or VATS) in treating patients with osteosarcoma that has spread to the lung (pulmonary metastases). Open thoracic surgery is a type of surgery done through a single larger incision (like a large cut) that goes between the ribs, opens up the chest, and removes the cancer. Thoracoscopy is a type of chest surgery where the doctor makes several small incisions and uses a small camera to help with removing the cancer. This phase II trial studies how well lower dose radiotherapy after chemotherapy (Carboplatin \& Etoposide) works in treating children with central nervous system (CNS) germinomas. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays, particles, or radioactive seeds to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. Carboplatin is in a class of medications known as platinum-containing compounds. It works in a way similar to the anticancer drug cisplatin, but may be better tolerated than cisplatin. Carboplatin works by killing, stopping or slowing the growth of tumor cells. Etoposide is in a class of medications known as podophyllotoxin derivatives. It blocks a certain enzyme needed for cell division and DNA repair and may kill cancer cells. Researchers want to see if lowering the dose of standard radiotherapy (RT) after chemotherapy can help get rid of CNS germinomas with fewer long-term side effects. Read Less

This phase III trial tests how well surgery plus chemotherapy compared to surgery alone works in treating patients with type I pleuropulmonary blastoma (PPB), and tests how well surgery plus standard chemotherapy with the addition of topotecan works compared to surgery plus standard chemotherapy alone in treating patients with type II and III PPB. Historically, most children with type I PPB had surgery and approximately 40% of children with type I PPB received chemotherapy following their surgery, usually for 22-42 weeks. There has not been a consistent standard for which children with type I PPB receive chemotherapy after surgery. For patients whose tumor has been removed completely with surgery, observation without chemotherapy may work as well as giving chemotherapy after surgery in preventing a return of the PPB tumor. The standard chemotherapy for patients with types II or III PPB in the United States is four cycles of IVADo (ifosfamide, vincristine, dactinomycin, and doxorubicin) followed by 8 cycles of IVA (ifosfamide, vincristine and dactinomycin). Ifosfamide is in a class of medications called alkylating agents. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of tumor cells in the body. Vincristine is in a class of medications called vinca alkaloids. It works by stopping tumor cells from growing and dividing and may kill them. Dactinomycin is a type of antibiotic that is only used in cancer chemotherapy (antineoplastic antibiotic). It works by damaging the cell's deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and may kill tumor cells. Doxorubicin is in a class of medications called anthracyclines. Doxorubicin damages the cell's DNA and may kill tumor cells. It also blocks a certain enzyme needed for cell division and DNA repair. Topotecan is in a class of medications called topoisomerase I inhibitors. It works by interfering with tumor cell DNA which kills them. Giving topotecan in addition to standard IVADo and IVA chemotherapy regimens may shrink the cancer as well as or better than the standard therapy or could decrease the chance the tumor spreads while causing fewer side effects. This clinical trial is studying advanced solid tumors. Solid tumors are cancers that start in a part of your body like your lungs or liver instead of your blood. Once tumors have grown bigger in one place but haven't spread, they're called locally advanced. If your cancer has spread to other parts of your body, it's called metastatic. When a cancer has gotten so big it can't easily be removed or has spread to other parts of the body, it is called unresectable. These types of cancer are harder to treat. Patients in this study must have cancer that has come back or did not get better with treatment. Patients must have a solid tumor cancer that can't be treated with standard of care drugs. This clinical trial uses an experimental drug called PF-08052666/SGN-MesoC2. PF-08052666/SGN-MesoC2 is a type of antibody-drug conjugate (ADC). ADCs are designed to stick to cancer cells and kill them. They may also stick to some normal cells. This study will have 3 parts. Part A and Part B of the study will find out how much PF-08052666/SGN-MesoC2 should be given to participants. Part C will use the information from Parts A and B to see if PF-08052666/SGN-MesoC2 is safe and if it works to treat solid tumor cancers. Read Less
