The TARGET-HBV study engages an observational research design to conduct a comprehensive review of outcomes for patients with CHB infection. The initial phase of the study that enrolled patients treated with tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) was successfully completed. The current protocol (Amendment 1) describes the second phase of the study that will engage research activities for patients being managed for CHB in usual clinical practice in the US and Canada. The study addresses important clinical questions regarding the management of CHB by collecting and analyzing data from patients at academic and community medical centers. The purpose of this study is to determine whether vonsetamig will safely decrease anti-HLA antibodies to allow for kidney transplantation. Vonsetamig is being studied for treatment of patients in need of kidney transplantation who are highly sensitized to HLA. The study is looking at several other research questions, including: * Side effects that may be experienced from taking vonsetamig * How vonsetamig works in the body * How much vonsetamig is present in the blood * If vonsetamig works to lower levels of antibodies to HLA Read Less

In this study, patients with small cell or non-small cell lung cancer will receive ADI-PEG 20, gemcitabine, and docetaxel after demonstrated progression on frontline therapy. In phase I of the study, up to 6 dose levels will be tested to find the recommended phase II dose (RP2D), after which patients enrolling to phase II will be treated at that dose level to assess efficacy. Although safety and tolerability has been previously determined in the sarcoma population, dose de-escalations of the chemotherapies in that patient population were required. Parents of children who die traumatically or unexpectedly from things like suicide or an overdose suffer from mental and physical health problems and can experience massive disruptions in their family life. For about half of these parents, the first, and sometimes only, interactions they have with the healthcare system when their child dies are with a medical examiner or coroner (hereafter 'ME'). But MEs have little to no training in helping grieving families, and there are no standards guiding medical examiners or coroners on how or even if they should help grieving families. This gap leaves parents to find the help they need on their own. This research will test two different strategies for addressing this gap in the healthcare system. Read Less

The purpose of this research study is to test the study drug, NORA520, as a possible treatment for severe postpartum depression (PPD). The trial aims to determine: * How well NORA520 is tolerated and what side effects it may cause * If NORA520 reduces depressive symptoms in subjects with severe PPD * The amount of NORA520 in the blood at various times after taking the study drug; this provides information that helps determine how often NORA520 should be taken * In a subset of subjects, the amount of NORA520 in breastmilk at various times after taking it to determine if and how much NORA520 can pass into breastmilk Participate in this study will be randomly assigned to one of 3 different groups. The study is about helping teens who are involved in the court system to cut down or quit using marijuana. Teens may be asked to test out an experimental smartphone app, called TECH, that will be used only by teens in this study. This app is a private online community where teens can work towards changing their substance use and other behavior with the help of other anonymous teens. We will use this information to learn how the app may help teens make a change and to improve the TECH app. Read Less

This is a first-in-human (FIH), open label Phase 1/1b / Phase 2 study in patients with advanced metastatic solid tumors refractory to standard treatment. Phase 1 will identify potential optimal biologically relevant doses (OBRD) and the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of MBRC-101 at one 1 or more dosing regimens. Phase 1b will evaluate the safety and preliminary clinical activity of MBRC-101 at potential OBRDs. Phase 1 and Phase 1b will both characterize single and multiple-dose PK profiles and evaluate incidence and persistence of anti-MBRC-101 Ab. Chronic musculoskeletal pain (CP) is a major public health concern. Psychosocial treatments have been shown to be efficacious when compared to largely inert control conditions, but they are characterized by modest effects on primary outcomes. One strategy to boost efficacy is to increase our understanding of treatment mediators. Studies of mediators that directly compare different treatments with each other are needed to determine which mediators are treatment-specific, which are shared across treatments, and which contribute the most to clinical outcomes. Another strategy is to identify the patient characteristics that moderate treatment responses. Research is needed that is guided by theoretical models and that tests moderators across multiple treatments. Identifying subgroups of patients more likely to respond to one or another treatment can advance precision medicine by informing a priori patient-treatment matches that can optimize treatment effects. To accomplish these goals, the authors will conduct a randomized clinical trial to compare the mediators and moderators of the clinical effects of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET) on adults with chronic spinal (axial) pain. Following baseline assessment of outcome variables as well as potential mediators and moderators, 460 participants will be randomized to CBT, ACT, EAET, or treatment-as-usual control (TAU). The three treatments will be conducted as individual therapy provided weekly for 8 weeks via telehealth. The researchers will conduct weekly assessments of both potential mediators and outcomes, as well as post-treatment and 6-month follow-up assessments. The goal of the study is to identify the most powerful treatment mechanisms - specific and shared -- and reveal for whom the mediator-outcome pathways are strongest.This project can increase the effects of our psychosocial chronic pain treatments by identifying the most effective treatment mechanisms and by informing patient-treatment matches that can optimize treatment effects.
