The purpose of this research study is to find out if adding radiation prior to chemoimmunotherapy and surgery is effective for people with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have the potential for surgery. Standard of Care Chemoimmunotherapy: For this study, standard of care chemotherapy will be used. This means this is the type of chemotherapy that is normal for your cancer. In addition to the chemotherapy, you will also receive the immunotherapy drug, nivolumab. This will be administered intravenously once every 3 weeks for up to 3 cycles (i.e. 9 weeks of total systemic therapy), prior to surgical resection assessment. This combination is made up of the chemotherapy drugs carboplatin or cisplatin along with pemetrexed, paclitaxel or gemcitabine, and the immunotherapy drug is nivolumab. The chemotherapy is used to kill cancer cells, and the immunotherapy enables your immune system to attack cancer cells. Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) SBRT is when radiation is delivered at higher doses over a smaller period of time. For this study, you will receive three doses of radiation delivered every other day, for three total days. The final dose of radiation will happen within 7 days of starting chemoimmunotherapy. You will be followed for up to 100 days following your last chemoimmunotherapy dose to monitor for potential side effects. Following this you will continue with your standard follow up with your doctor. During the standard follow-up time, study staff will review your charts to see if there have been any new updates with your cancer following treatment so they can tell how this treatment affects how long patients live and whether it helps avoid recurrence of the cancer. The purpose of this study is to compare the effects on low risk breast cancer receiving usual care that includes regional radiation therapy, with receiving no regional radiation therapy. The goal of this observational study is to evaluate the Thoraflex Hybrid device alone and in combination with the RelayPro NBS stent-graft in the treatment of aortic disease affecting the aortic arch and descending aorta with or without involvement of the ascending aorta. Patients who undergo treatment with the Thoraflex Hybrid device with or without extension with a RelayPro NBS stent-graft will be eligible for enrolment and study activities and follow-up regime will follow standard care at each participating site. This clinical trial is studying advanced solid tumors. Solid tumors are cancers that start in a part of your body like your lungs or liver instead of your blood. Once tumors have grown bigger in one place but haven't spread, they're called locally advanced. If your cancer has spread to other parts of your body, it's called metastatic. When a cancer has gotten so big it can't easily be removed or has spread to other parts of the body, it is called unresectable. These types of cancer are harder to treat. Participants in this study must have cancer that has come back or did not get better with treatment. Participants must have a solid tumor cancer that can't be treated with standard of care drugs. This clinical trial uses an experimental drug called PF-08046050. PF-08046050 is a type of antibody-drug conjugate or ADC. ADCs are designed to stick to cancer cells and kill them. They may also stick to some normal cells. This study will test the safety of PF-08046050 in participants with solid tumors that are hard to treat or have spread throughout the body. This study has 5 different study parts. Part A and Part B of the study will find out how much PF-08046050 should be given to participants. Part C will use the information from Parts A and B to see if PF-08046050 is safe and if it works to treat certain solid tumor cancers. Part D of the study, together with information from Parts A and B, will find out how much PF-08046050 should be given to participants in combination with bevacizumab. Part E will use the information from Parts A, B, and D to see if PF-08046050 is safe in combination with bevacizumab and if it works to treat a certain solid tumor. Read Less

This study is open to adults with chronic heart failure (HF) who have a reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) of less than 40%. People can join the study if they have been diagnosed with chronic HF at least 3 months before the study. The purpose of this study is to find out whether a medicine called vicadrostat, in combination with another medicine called empagliflozin, helps people with chronic heart failure. In this study, participants are put into 2 groups randomly. Participants have an equal chance of being in either group. One group takes vicadrostat and empagliflozin tablets, and the other group takes placebo and empagliflozin tablets. Placebo tablets look like vicadrostat tablets but do not contain any medicine. Participants take the study medicines as tablets once a day for between 1 and about 3.5 years. During this time, they can continue their regular treatment for heart failure. Participants can stay in the study as long as they benefit from treatment and can tolerate it, for a maximum of about 3.5 years. During this time, they visit the study site regularly. The exact number of visits is different for each participant, depending on how long they stay in the study. The study staff may also contact the participants by phone. Participants also regularly answer questions about their well-being. The doctors document when participants experience worsening of their heart failure symptoms, must go to hospital due to heart failure, or die during the study. The time until these events are observed is compared between the treatment groups to see whether the treatment works. The goal of this observational study is to characterize and evaluate micro- and nano-plastic (MNP) exposures among mothers and infants in mother-infant dyads 1 or 3 months postpartum living in Baltimore, Maryland. The main questions it aims to answer are: * What MNPs are present in breastmilk and maternal blood samples and in their infants stool sample? * Are there associations between amount of maternal MNPs in breast milk and mass of MNP particles in infant stool? * Which environmental and lifestyle factors are most predictive of maternal MNP burden? * Is infant exposure to MNPs associated with birth weight and postnatal growth trajectories? Participants will: * Complete several questionnaires assessing medical histories, lifestyle factors, environmental exposures, eating behaviors, etc. * Provide biological specimens including: maternal blood, stool, and breastmilk; infant stool * Clinical visit to have anthropometric measures documented including maternal height and weight, infant weight, length, and skin-fold thickness Read Less

Participants eligible for the study will be randomly allocated (1:1:1) to receive either Luminopia dichoptic treatment while wearing optical correction if needed, Vivid Vision dichoptic treatment while wearing optical correction if needed, or continued optical correction alone if needed, with clinical assessments at 9- and 18-weeks post-randomization. At the 18-week primary outcome visit, participants who were randomly assigned to receive optical correction alone if needed with an IOD of 1 logMAR line (5 letters) or more, will be offered randomization to Luminopia or Vivid Vision dichoptic therapy and if they accept, followed forward with visits at 27- and 36-weeks post-randomization.
