This randomized controlled trial is a between-groups design to compare the Motivational and Cognitive Behavioral Management for Alcohol and Pain (MCBMAP) Intervention to a Brief Advice and Information Control condition. Two-hundred and fifty participants who have HIV with moderate or greater chronic pain will be randomized for the trial. Recruitment will take place through digital media. A unique feature of this intervention trial is that most of the procedures will be conducted remotely which will minimize barriers of transportation and time for participants. Consent and baseline assessment will be completed remotely. Following baseline assessment, participants will complete two weeks of ecological momentary assessment (EMA) to assess alcohol use, chronic pain, physical function and mechanisms of behavior change for alcohol and pain management. Following the two-week phase, participants will be randomly assigned to either the intervention or control condition and meet the interventionist through videoconferencing. Participants will complete outcome assessment measures at 3- and 6-months post-baseline. Following the 3-month outcome assessment, participants will complete another two weeks of EMA. Read Less

A prospective, multicenter, single arm, interventional study. The target patient population for this study are adult subjects with WNBAs of the anterior and posterior intracranial circulation. The goal of this study is to understand if SLT performed at low energy is as effective as SLT performed at standard energy, and also to see if repeating SLT at low energy once a year will prevent or delay the need for daily eye drop medications better than waiting for SLT to wear off before repeating it. The purpose of this study is to determine if doxycycline will reduce progression of emphysema in people living with HIV. The secondary objectives are to examine the effects of doxycycline on change in quantity of emphysema, six minute walk distance, patient reported outcomes, ratio of forced expiratory volume in 1 second and forced vital capacity. Secondary objectives will also describe the safety and tolerability of doxycycline and determine if doxycycline is associated with development of antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections. Read Less

Crohn's Disease (CD) is a gastrointestinal disease that can cause chronic diarrhea with or without gross bleeding, abdominal pain, weight loss, and fever. This study will assess the pharmacokinetics, efficacy, and safety of risankizumab in pediatric participants with moderately to severely active CD aged 2 to \< 18 years old who have had intolerance or inadequate response to other therapies. Risankizumab is an approved drug for adults with plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and CD and is being developed for the treatment of CD in pediatrics. This study is comprised of 3 cohorts that may participate in 3 substudies (SS). Cohort 1 will enroll participants with ages from 6 to less than 18 years. Cohort 2 will enroll participants with ages from 2 to less than 6 years. Cohort 3 will enroll participants with ages from 2 to less than 18 years. SS1 is an open-label induction period where participants will receive a weight-based induction regimen of risankizumab. SS2 is a double-blind maintenance period where participants will be randomized to receive 1 of 2 doses of weight-based induction regimen of risankizumab. SS3 is an open-label extension period where participants will receive risankizumab based off of their response in SS2. Around 110 pediatric participants with CD will be enrolled at around 100 sites worldwide. Participants in SS1 will receive risankizumab intravenously during the 12-week induction period. Participants in SS2 will receive risankizumab subcutaneously during the 52-week randomized maintenance period. Participants in SS3 will receive risankizumab subcutaneously during the 208-week open label period. Participants will be followed-up for approximately 140 days. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. Walking is a complex and continuous task that entails repetitive motions of the body. Relatively high gait variability sensitively predicts falls and cognitive decline in older adults. Previous work has identified an unique brain network relationship linked to gait variability and its relevant cognitive function (i.e., sustained attention). This project aims to develop a non-invasive brain stimulation montage designed to modulate the shared brain networks dynamics and to demonstrate its effects on resting state functional connectivity, gait and cognitive performance in older adults at risk for falls. The goal of this clinical trial is to characterize the safety, tolerability, dose-limiting toxicities (DLT), and maximum tolerated dose (MTD) or maximum administered dose of MGC028 (if no MTD is defined). The study will enroll adult participants with relapsed or refractory, unresectable, locally advanced of metastatic solid tumors known to express ADAM9. The main question the study aims to answer is: * What types of side effects will participants experience when receiving MGC028? * Can MGC028 cause cancer to shrink, remain stable, or able to control disease progression of participants with advanced solid tumors? Participants will * Undergo screening procedures to determine eligibility * Receive study treatments initially every 3 weeks. * Have blood samples taken for routine and research tests * Have other examinations to check heart and lung function, and general health status * Be asked about any side effects that may be happening or other medications you are taking. The study doctor will provide treatment for side effects, if necessary. * Have the study doctor assess your tumor status at regular intervals to determine how you are responding to treatment.
