Adjunctive Mindfulness During Opioid Tapering for patientS With Chronic Pain (The AMOS Study)

This study is a Randomized Controlled Trial exploring the effects of a Mindfulness interventions in reducing pain interference and opioid dose in patients with Chronic Low Back Pain. A total of 200 opioid-using patients with chronic pain, male and female participants will be enrolled, with a need for 160 completers. Patient will be randomly assigned into the Mindfulness-Oriented Recovery Enhancement or the Psychoeducation comparison control group.

The Effects of a Virtual Yoga Program on Patients With Chronic Pain
Recruiting
This research is being done to determine if remote yoga-based exercise can help reduce chronic pain. It will include three virtual research visits. This cohort study will include three remote research visits and an online questionnaire administration. In addition, participants will attend 8 weekly virtual yoga sessions with a daily 30-minute "homework assignment" of 30 minutes of video-guided yoga practice.

ZYNRELEF® for Postoperative Analgesia After Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy

Approximately 120 subjects will be randomized into 1 of the following 2 treatment groups in a 1:1 ratio:
Group 1: ZYNRELEF® up to 200 mg/ 6mg ( 7ml vial) via instillation at all incision sites in addition to 30 ml of 0.5% Ropivacaine + 10mg dexamethasone. Postoperatively, intermittent IV acetaminophen will be administered as per need till discharge.
Group 2: 30 ml of 0.5% Ropivacaine and 10mg dexamethasone into all surgical sites and intermittent IV acetaminophen as per need till discharge.
