Venetoclax is in a class of medications called B-cell lymphoma-2 (BCL-2) inhibitors. It may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking Bcl-2, a protein needed for cancer cell survival. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as obinutuzumab, may help t... Read More

They will look at whether cfDNA levels are related to a person's response to the usual first-line treatment for follicular lymphoma. Researchers also want to understand how different genetic changes in follicular lymphoma relate to a person's response to the usual first-line treatment.

This phase III trial compares the effectiveness of rituximab to mosunetuzumab in treating patients with follicular lymphoma with a low tumor burden. Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody. It binds to a protein called CD20, which is found on B cells (a type of white blood cell) and some types of cancer cells. This may help the immune system kill cancer cells. Mosunetuzumab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. It is not yet known if giving r... This phase III trial compares the effect of adding immunotherapy (brentuximab vedotin and nivolumab) to standard treatment (chemotherapy with or without radiation) to the standard treatment alone in improving survival in patients with stage I and II classical Hodgkin lymphoma. Brentuximab vedotin is in a class of medications called antibody-drug conjugates. It is made of a monoclonal antibody called brentuximab that is linked to a cytotoxic agent called vedotin. Brentuximab attaches to CD30 posi... Read More

This phase I trial tests the safety, side effects, and best dose of combination therapy with tazemetostat and belinostat in treating patients with lymphoma that has come back after a period of improvement (relapsed) or that does not respond to treatment (refractory). Tazemetostat is in a class of medications called EZH2 inhibitors. The EZH2 gene provides instructions for making a type of enzyme called histone methyltransferase which is involved in gene expression and cell division. Blocking EZH2...
