This pilot study will be a single center, randomized controlled study of 24 participants with diagnosed BM (various primary disease sites) comparing the effect of a ketogenic (n=12) and AICR (n=12) diet. Potential participants will be identified via medical record reviews and chart reviews. Eligibility of patients will be assessed via medical record review. Randomization will be balanced by blocks of random sizes but no stratification due to the small sample size. Both groups will undergo a 16-week diet intervention where research dietitians will provide educations, recipes and grocery lists on the participants assigned diet. Each group will receive 4-7 days worth of food prior to testing days to both aid in transitioning to each dietary arm and to ensure that the metabolic needs for each arm are met. In an effort to maintain a patient centric focus and monitor changes in quality of life (QOL) all patients will complete psychosocial and behavioral inventories. These inventories aim to capture a holistic view on the proposed nutritional intervention during treatment. Primary outcomes will be determined at baseline, 8 weeks, and 16 weeks while patient-centric outcomes will be assessed every four weeks. Participants will have counseling by the attending physician for additional applicable medications for any treatment related side effects or toxicities. The CORRECT - MRD II study will prospectively enroll patients who have undergone complete surgical resection for stage II or III colorectal cancer. Patients will be followed for a minimum of 3 years and up to 5 years for recurrence. Read Less

This is a randomized prospective study assessing the impact of psychosocial factors on pain and physical performance among adolescents with leg pain. A set of psychosocial surveys assessing activity-related fear, stress, anxiety and depression will be completed by the participants. Participants will then complete self-report questionnaires assessing pain, quality of life and functional ability followed by an assessment of physical activity levels assessed with a wearable activity monitor;. Participants will then be randomized into one of two intervention groups (psychologically-informed video education group and a control group). After participants receive their assigned educational intervention, the self-report questionnaires will be re-administered. Participants with leg pain pain will then complete follow-up assessment of their psychological beliefs, pain, quality of life, physical activity levels, and self-reported functional ability through REDcap at 1 week, 4 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year. The purpose of this study is to determine if a movement to music exercise program delivered via telehealth is feasible and safe for individuals with neurodegenerative disease and their caregivers (Aim 1). The Rett Syndrome Registry is a longitudinal observational study of individuals with MECP2 mutations and a diagnosis of Rett syndrome. Designed together with the IRSF Rett Syndrome Center of Excellence Network medical directors, this study collects data on the signs and symptoms of Rett syndrome as reported by the Rett syndrome experts and by the caregivers of individuals with Rett syndrome. This study will be used to develop consensus based guidelines for the care of your loved ones with Rett syndrome and to facilitate the development of better clinical trials and other aspects of the drug development path for Rett syndrome. The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether Northera (Droxidopa) is safe and effective in young adults with Menkes disease who survived the most severe complications of their illness or adults with occipital horn syndrome (OHS), who have trouble with intermittent low blood pressure and other symptoms of dysautonomia. The outcomes and information from this study may help adult survivors of Menkes disease and individuals with OHS lead more normal day-to-day lives. Read Less

This clinical trial aims to see if patients with triple negative breast cancer can complete a biobehavioral stress reduction program that also addresses health related social needs (e.g., utilities, transportation, etc.). The stress reduction program is over ten weeks and includes stress reduction (e.g., progressive muscle relaxation), coping, problem solving, communication, and social support. Health related social needs will be evaluated at the beginning of the study, and referrals will be made to social work to help address those needs. This phase I/II trial tests the safety, side effects, and best dose of universal donor UD TGFbetai natural killer (NK) cells, and whether UD TGFbetai NK cells with temozolomide works to shrink tumors in patients with stage IV melanoma that has spread to the brain (metastatic to the brain). NK cells are immune cells that contribute to anti-tumor immunity by recognizing and destroying transformed or stressed cells. Temozolomide is in a class of medications called alkylating agents. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells in the body. Giving UD TGFbetai NK cell and temozolomide may work better in treating patients with stage IV melanoma. Read Less
