Testing Low Dose Tamoxifen for Invasive Breast Cancer, the (LoTam) Trial
Recruiting
This phase III trial compares the effect of low dose tamoxifen to usual hormonal therapy, including aromatase inhibitors, in treating post-menopausal women with hormone positive, HER2 negative early stage breast cancer. Tamoxifen is in a class of medications known as antiestrogens. It blocks the activity of estrogen (a female hormone) in the breast. This may stop the growth of some breast tumors that need estrogen to grow. Aromatase inhibitors, such as anastrozole, letrozole, and exemestane, pre... Read More

Testing the Addition of the Anti-Cancer Drug Tivozanib to Immunotherapy (Pembrolizumab) After Surgery to Remove All Known Sites of Kidney Cancer
Recruiting
This phase III trial compares the effect of adding tivozanib to standard therapy pembrolizumab versus pembrolizumab alone for the treatment of patients with high-risk renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Tivozanib is in a class of medications called kinase inhibitors. It works by blocking the action of the abnormal prot... Read More

Comparing Impact of Treatment Before or After Surgery in Patients With Stage II-IIIB Resectable Non-small Cell Lung Cancer
Recruiting
This phase III trial compares standard therapy given after surgery (adjuvant) to standard therapy given before and after surgery (perioperative) in treating patients with stage II-IIIB non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that can be removed by surgery (resectable). The usual approach for patients with resectable NSCLC is chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy before surgery, after surgery, or both before and after surgery. This study is being done to find out which approach is better at treating patie... Read More

Safety, Efficacy, and Frequency of Administration of VNX001 in the Treatment of Interstitial Cystitis / Bladder Pain Syndrome (IC/BPS)
Recruiting
This is an open-label study that will enroll participants with Interstitial Cystitis / Bladder Pain Syndrome (IC/BPS). The study will assess PRN (as needed) dosing of up to 6 intravesical (via catheter) doses of VNX001 (study drug) to treat acute instances of moderate to severe bladder pain over a 14-day period. The main aim of the study is to tally the number of doses and assess pain before and after doses. The study will review the safety and tolerability of VNX001. Participants will need to... Read More

Testing Continuous Versus Intermittent Treatment With the Study Drug Zanubrutinib for Older Patients With Previously Untreated Mantle Cell Lymphoma
Recruiting
This phase III trial tests whether continuous or intermittent zanubrutinib after achieving a complete remission (CR) with rituximab works in older adult patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) who have not received treatment in the past (previously untreated). Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Zanubrutinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. When zanubrutinib is used... Read More
