Hypertensive disorders (HD), including preeclampsia, gestational hypertension, chronic hypertension, and chronic hypertension with superimposed preeclampsia, affect around 10-20% of pregnant women in the United States and are significantly associated with maternal mortality and morbidity, particularly in the postpartum period. The prevalence of HD is on the rise in the United States and has increased from 13% in 2017 to 16% in 2019 owing to an increase in advanced maternal age, obesity, and diabetes. There are major racial disparities in HD and subsequent maternal mortality and morbidity. HD affect more than 1 in 5 delivery hospitalizations of Black women. Black women with HD are also more likely than white women with HD to have more adverse postpartum blood pressure trajectories which leads to a higher incidence of hypertension related hospital readmissions (readmission for hypertension during the first 6-weeks postpartum: 16.9% among Black women vs. 9.5% among white women, p=0.02) and cardiovascular-related adverse events. However, most of the management recommendations have been centered around blood pressure targets during the antepartum period with significantly less attention paid to the postpartum period despite evidence showing that hypertensive disorders are the most common reason for postpartum readmissions and are associated with increased maternal mortality and morbidity and a significant cost burden. Durable left ventricular assist devices (dLVAD) have been increasingly utilized since the mid to late 1990s, with an uptick of utility starting in 2010 following expanded indications for therapy to not only include a bridge to transplantation strategy, but also for those individuals who suffer from advanced heart failure (HF) and do not qualify for cardiac transplantation. Despite the decreasing size of the newest generation devices leading to a lessened occurrence of adverse events, bleeding and infection still remain a concern for clinicians, as well as a general lack of predictability towards adverse events in individuals with a dLVAD in place. There is a lack of description in the literature currently, regarding the interface between what the pump data provides and what is seen in clinical practice. There also is little known about the effects of what is provided in the pump data, in correlation to quality-of-life following dLVAD implantation. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to prospectively analyze normal and abnormal pump data through pump operations such as suction events, low flow alarms as well as other adventitious alarms, PI events and power cable disconnects greater than 20 seconds, from the HeartMate 3 ® dLVAD in order to clinically correlate this data to quality of life, frailty and other various medical conditions and adverse events as defined by the Interagency Registry for Mechanically Assisted Circulatory Support (Intermacs). This will be achieved through two aims: 1) Evaluate the effectiveness of dLVAD pump operations data on clinical practice application (quality of life, frailty and various medical conditions, and adverse events such as GIB, RHF, infection, hypertension, arrhythmias and stroke); and 2) Evaluate correlations and relationships of longitudinal normal and abnormal dLVAD pump operations data, to demographic and clinical variables. Follicular lymphoma (FL) is the second most common B-cell cancer and the most common type of cancer of lymphocytes. Unfortunately, this disease is incurable with conventional treatment and the disease recurs in almost all patients. This study will assess how safe and effective epcoritamab is in combination with lenalidomide and rituximab (R2) in treating adult participants with previously untreated FL. Adverse events and change in disease condition will be assessed. Epcoritamab is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of FL. Study doctors put the participants in 1 of 4 groups, called treatment arms. Each group receives a different treatment. Around 1080 adult participants with previously untreated FL will be enrolled in approximately 250 sites across the world. Participants will receive R2 (intravenous \[IV\] infusion of rituximab (R) and oral capsules of lenalidomide) alone or in combination with subcutaneous injections of epcoritamab. Participants may also receive investigator's choice chemoimmunotherapy (CIT): IV infusion of obinutuzumab (G) and IV injections of cyclophosphamide, IV injections of doxorubicin, IV injections of vincristine, oral tablets of prednisone (CHOP) \[G-CHOP\]/ R-CHOP or G and IV infusion of bendamustine (Benda) \[G-Benda\]/R-Benda. The total treatment duration will be 120 weeks. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. This is a randomized, double-blind, sham-controlled, adaptive-design pivotal study of sensory stimulation in subjects with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. Up to approximately 600 subjects will be randomized to 12 months of daily treatment with either Active or Sham Sensory Stimulation Systems. Efficacy will be measured using the Alzheimer's Disease Cooperative Study- Activities of Daily Living (ADCS-ADL) assessment and a combined statistical test (CST) of the ADCS-ADL and the Mini-Mental State Exam (MMSE). The participants are being asked to take part in this clinical trial, a type of research study, because the participants are scheduled to receive or have recently received a hematopoietic cell transplant (HCT) or a solid organ transplant (SOT). Primary Objective To determine if pre-transplant screening for respiratory viral load predicts RVI within 1- year post-transplant among survivors. The primary objective of the proposed Stage II study is to examine the efficacy of oxytocin (OT) as compared to placebo in reducing (1) alcohol use disorder (AUD) symptoms, and (2) post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms among Veterans receiving COPE therapy (Concurrent Treatment of PTSD and Substance Use Disorders using Prolonged Exposure). This is a first-in-human, multicenter, Phase 1/1b, 3-part, double-blind study of ZH9 in patients with recurrent NMIBC who are eligible for intravesical therapy. In Part 1, the safety, tolerability, and pharmacology of ZH9 IVI will be evaluated in a single ascending dose (SAD) patient cohort. In Part 2, the safety, tolerability, and pharmacology of ZH9 oral prime followed by ZH9 IVI will be evaluated in 2 patient cohorts at the doses and schedule established in Part 1. In Part 3, the safety, pharmacology, and clinical efficacy of ZH9 will be further evaluated in 2 expansion cohorts of patients with recurrent intermediate- and high-risk NMIBC. Read Less

This is a Phase 3, open-label, single arm trial designed to evaluate Cretostimogene patients with NMIBC who have failed prior BCG therapy. Up to approximately 115 CIS bladder cancer patients with or without HG Ta or HG T1 papillary disease will be enrolled under the original protocol through Amendment 4, which will comprise Cohort C. Cohort C is closed to enrollment. Under Amendment 5-1, Cohort P was added to enroll up to 70 patients with HG Ta/T1 papillary bladder cancer. Under Amendment 6, the target number of patients enrolled in Cohort P was increased to 75. Cohort P is open to enrollment Cohort C and Cohort P will be analyzed and reported separately.
