Cancer Paid Clinical Trials in Florida

This is a phase 3, single arm, open-label study evaluating the effectiveness of TOL2506 to suppress ovarian function in premenopausal women with HR+, HER2-negative breast cancer. The study will also aim to assess the safety of TOL2506 in men with HR+, HER2-negative breast cancer. The Screening Period will be conducted in two parts: 1) an abbreviated, initial screening where premenopausal status will be determined prior to neoadjuvant or adjuvant chemotherapy (if planned) and 2) the full screening assessment conducted after neoadjuvant or adjuvant chemotherapy (or for subjects who enter the study without having received chemotherapy). Following the Screening Period, eligible subjects will enter into the 48 week Treatment Period in 1 of 2 groups: those who will receive tamoxifen concurrently with TOL2506 or those who will initiate therapy with an AI (letrozole, anastrozole, or exemestane) beginning 6 weeks after the first administration of TOL2506, upon confirmation that estradiol (E2) levels of \< 20 pg/mL (testosterone levels \< 50 ng/dL in males) have been achieved. After Week 12, subjects will be allowed to switch from receiving an AI to receiving tamoxifen or from tamoxifen to AI at the discretion of the Investigator. However, a switch is not permitted 28 days prior to a dosing visit (eg, Week 24, 36, and 48 where a pre-dose blood sample for PK and PD analysis will be drawn). At the end of the Treatment Period, upon completion of the End of Study Visit (Visit 9, Week 48) subjects may be eligible to participate in a Safety Extension Study under a separate Protocol. This is a multicenter, Phase 1b/2 trial. The phase 1b part of the trial aims to determine the RP2D of elacestrant when administered in combination with alpelisib, everolimus, palbociclib, abemaciclib, and ribociclib. The "Genomic medicine Risk Assessment Care for Everyone" (GRACE)" intervention project will develop a scalable end-to-end solution for risk assessment and management that meets the needs of those populations living in low resource settings. The long-term goal is to increase access to and uptake of risk-informed evidence-based guidelines that will improve population health through better patient outcomes, higher quality of life, and decreased costs. The three primary aims are: Aim 1: Develop a scalable implementation framework that guides each unique clinical setting, including low resource settings, in deploying GRACE effectively for the needs of their patients and providers. Aim 2: Facilitate the potential for genomic medicine to promote population health by broadening access to and uptake of genomic risk assessment by the general population through a pragmatic implementation-effectiveness trial of GRACE. Aim 3: Reduce health disparities related to genomic medicine by allowing individual adaption of GRACE to suit their level of resources, education, and access within a pragmatic implementation-effectiveness trial. Three sets of participants will be engaged: patients (n=750), providers (n=25), and family members of "probands" (i.e., patients that have a genetic change that increases risk, n\~500). Patient participants will be asked to complete a baseline survey, enter their family health history information into MeTree (a family health history web-based platform) and complete a survey about their experience using the platform. Subsequent study procedures will depend on: 1) the results of their MeTree risk evaluation, 2) their acceptance/declination of genetic testing (for those categorized as needing testing by MeTree), and 3) the results of the test (for those accepting testing). Provider participants will be providers who are the primary care physicians treating one or more patients enrolled in the patient participant group. Providers will be notified on a patient by patient basis once the patient participant under their care has complete the risk assessment process and the risk report is available from MeTree. At study completion, provider participants will be asked to complete a survey about their demographics, practice, and experiences with the study. Blood relatives of the probands who are identified by the proband as open to engaging with the study will be contacted and offered genetic counseling and genetic testing. Read Less

BH-30643-01 is a Phase 1/2, first-in-human, open label, dose escalation and expansion study in patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and/or human epidermal growth factor receptor (HER2) mutations. The study drug, BH-30643 capsules, will be self-administered by mouth twice daily in 21-day cycles. Phase 1 will determine the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) and, if applicable, the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of BH-30643. Phase 2 will further evaluate the antitumor efficacy and safety in specified cohorts determined by EGFR/HER2 mutation subtypes and/or treatment history at the RP2D, as well as the population PK. This phase II ComboMATCH treatment trial evaluates the effectiveness of palbociclib and binimetinib in treating patients with RAS-mutated cancers. Palbociclib and binimetinib are both in a class of medications called kinase inhibitors. They work by blocking the action of abnormal proteins that signals cancer cells to multiply. This trial may help researchers understand if giving the combination of palbociclib and binimetinib can help improve the amount of time before the cancer grows in patients with patients with low grade serous ovarian cancer who have certain changes in the tumor DNA. This trial may also help researchers understand if giving the combination of palbociclib and binimetinib can help improve outcomes among patients with low grade serous ovarian cancer who have previously received a MEK inhibitor. For patients with other tumors, with the exception of lung cancer, colon cancer, melanoma and low grade serous ovarian cancers, this trial may help researchers understand if giving the combination of palbociclib and binimetinib can improve the clinical outcome of survival without progression in patients who have certain changes in their tumor's DNA. This ComboMATCH patient screening trial is the gateway to a coordinated set of clinical trials to study cancer treatment directed by genetic testing. Patients with solid tumors that have spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced) or have spread to other places in the body (advanced) and have progressed on at least one line of standard systemic therapy or have no standard treatment that has been shown to prolong overall survival may be candidates for these trials. Genetic tests look at the unique genetic material (genes) of patients' tumor cells. Patients with some genetic changes or abnormalities (mutations) may benefit from treatment that targets that particular genetic mutation. ComboMATCH is designed to match patients to a treatment that may work to control their tumor and may help doctors plan better treatment for patients with locally advanced or advanced solid tumors. This phase III trial compares the addition of an immunotherapy drug (durvalumab) to usual chemotherapy versus usual chemotherapy alone in treating patients with MammaPrint Ultrahigh (MP2) stage II-III hormone receptor positive, HER2 negative breast cancer. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as durvalumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Chemotherapy drugs, such as paclitaxel, doxorubicin, and cyclophosphamide work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. There is some evidence from previous clinical trials that people who have a MammaPrint Ultrahigh Risk result may be more likely to respond to chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Adding durvalumab to usual chemotherapy may be able to prevent the cancer from returning for patients with MP2 stage II-III hormone receptor positive, HER2 negative breast cancer. Read Less

This phase III trial studies how well combination chemotherapy, bevacizumab, and/or atezolizumab work in treating patients with deficient deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) mismatch repair colorectal cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). Chemotherapy drugs, such as fluorouracil, oxaliplatin, and leucovorin calcium, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Bevacizumab may stop or slow colorectal cancer by blocking the growth of new blood vessels necessary for tumor growth. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving combination chemotherapy, bevacizumab, and atezolizumab may work better in treating patients with colorectal cancer. Read Less
