This phase II trial studies how well TPIV100 and sargramostim work in treating patients with HER2 positive, stage II-III breast cancer that has residual disease after chemotherapy prior to surgery. It also studies why some HER2 positive breast cancer patients respond better to chemotherapy in combination with trastuzumab and pertuzumab. TPIV100 is a type of vaccine made from HER2 peptide that may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells that express HER2. Sargramostim increases the number of white blood cells in the body following chemotherapy for certain types of cancer and is used to alert the immune system. It is not yet known if TPIV100 and sargramostim will work better in treating patients with HER2 positive, stage II-III breast cancer. Read Less

This clinical study is conducted to develop a new test to identify prostate cancer patients at highest risk of radiotherapy-related complications, especially related to gastrolintestinal (GI) toxicities. This clinical study would allow monitoring of total tissue damage in blood samples as early as after the 2nd but before the 4th radiotherapy dose during week 1 of radiotherapy, which could help clinicians make treatment decisions. Detection of excessive tissue damage at this early time, well before symptoms occur, could allow doctors to tailor interventions which could include patient therapies that would reduce or prevent the problems that occur due to radiotherapy of their cancer. Breast conserving surgery (BCS) is performed on patients with breast cancer to resect and completely remove the cancer while conserving as much of the surrounding healthy tissue as possible. Current methods do not allow surgeons to determine the completeness of surgical resection in real-time. This often results in the need for a second surgical procedure, or in some cases more than two surgical procedures in order to have confidence that all cancer has been removed. This Phase 3 study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of the fluorescent imaging agent PD G 506 A for the real-time visualization of cancer during standard of care breast conserving surgery. PD G 506 A is an investigational drug which is converted in the body into a fluorescent molecule that accumulates in cancer cells. Patients receiving PD G 506 A will undergo standard of care breast conserving surgery followed by fluorescence imaging and removal of any potentially cancerous tissue left behind in the surgical cavity. The goal of this randomized treatment study is to formally compare quality of life in patients with at least one pN0 hemi-neck after resection of a squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity treated with a primary radiation therapy versus a secondary targeted radiation therapy approach, to provide a high level of evidence to guide the selection of treatment options. The goal of this clinical trial is to test the safety and efficacy of KVA12123 alone or combined with pembrolizumab in patients with advanced solid tumors. The main questions this study aims to answer are: 1. What is the safety of KVA12123 when administered alone and in combination with pembrolizumab to advanced cancer patients? 2. What is an appropriate dose of KVA12123 to administer alone and in combination with pembrolizumab to advanced cancer patients in future clinical trials? Participants in this trial will be asked to: 1. Visit the clinical site every 1 - 2 weeks. 2. Receive KVA12123 every 2 weeks alone or in combination with pembrolizumab every 6 weeks. 3. Provide blood samples to evaluate drug levels in blood, drug safety and to explore the effects of each drug on the immune system. 4. Undergo scans every 6 weeks to test the effect of treatment on cancer progression. 5. The objective is to better identify suspicious breast lesions that need to be biopsied for malignancy in women currently recommended for biopsy. The long-term goal is to reduce unnecessary biopsies and increase biopsy yield. To do this, the investigators have developed an innovative way to use FDA-approved breast imaging protocols to acquire multispectral images to measure the composition of suspicious breast lesions. The central hypothesis is that breast tissue composition in combination with analysis of morphological and textural tissue characteristics on digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) imaging will yield significantly higher breast cancer specificity than conventional interpretation of DBT alone.
