This phase III trial studies how well trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1) and tucatinib work in preventing breast cancer from coming back (relapsing) in patients with high risk, HER2 positive breast cancer. T-DM1 is a monoclonal antibody, called trastuzumab, linked to a chemotherapy drug, called DM1. Trastuzumab is a form of targeted therapy because it attaches to specific molecules (receptors) on the surface of cancer cells, known as HER2 receptors, and delivers DM1 to kill them. Tucatinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving T-DM1 and tucatinib may work better in preventing breast cancer from relapsing in patients with HER2 positive breast cancer compared to T-DM1 alone. Read Less

The purpose of this research study is to investigate the impact of virtual reality experiences on individuals undergoing radiotherapy, aiming to assess whether this immersive technology can reduce anxiety and enhance patient overall treatment satisfaction. By comparing different virtual reality techniques and a standard informational video, the study seeks to identify optimal strategies for leveraging virtual reality to improve the patient experience during radiotherapy. This research study will evaluate how well brain metastases associated with HER-2 positive breast cancer can be controlled using a type of radiation known as stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) when combined with three therapeutic agents, tucatinib, capecitabine, and trastuzumab. Pediatric cancer survivors are at an increased risk of excessive weight gain and reduced exercise behaviors with the potential for this risk to worsen over time. With over 80% of pediatric cancer patients living to adulthood, many pediatric cancer survivors experience long-term health consequences such as heart disease - the leading cause of death in this population. The purpose of this clinical research study is to teach parents/caregivers skills that will help prevent and reduce the problems of obesity in childhood cancer survivors. In this study, parents have the opportunity to participate in one of two web-based groups in which parents in either group will learn valuable information to improve the health of their child and of themselves. The purpose of this study is to compare three types of support programs for parents who have lost a child. The study will see how these support programs affect participants' grief and depression symptoms. The purpose of this clinical trial is to determine whether using chemotherapy followed by stereotactic ablative body radiation therapy (SABR) and tumor treating fields (TTF) will slow tumor growth in people with locally advanced pancreas cancer. All participants will receive SABR therapy once per day for five days and use the TTF system for at least 18 hours per day starting on the first day of SABR until the tumor progresses or severe toxicity develops. This research study will enroll people who have cancer in their abdomen or pelvis that was treated previously with radiation therapy. The purpose of this research study is to test the safety and possible harms of treating tumors in these regions with another round of radiation therapy, called reirradiation or "reRT." The study is designed to be multicentric and international and it will analyze medical records from selected patients diagnosed with locally advanced and resectable NSCLC who underwent lung resection by robotic, VATS and open approach after receiving neoadjuvant chemo-immunotherapy. The purpose of this research study is to see if the medication sacituzumab govitecan (SG) is effective at the currently approved dose and schedule in people who have previously received trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd) for the treatment of metastatic, hormone receptor positive (HR+)/human epidermal growth factor 2 low (HER2 low) breast cancer. Although SG is approved to treat metastatic HR+/HER2 negative breast cancer, the aim of this study is to determine if SG is still effective specifically in people who have already received T-DXd.
