In this study, researchers will learn more about a study drug called BIIB080. The study will focus on participants with mild cognitive impairment or mild dementia due to AD. The main question researchers are trying to answer is if BIIB080 can slow the worsening of AD more than placebo. It will focus on what dose of BIIB080 slows worsening of AD the most. To help answer this question, researchers will use the Clinical Dementia Rating-Sum of Boxes, also known as the CDR-SB. Clinicians use the CDR-SB to measure several categories of dementia symptoms. The results for each category are added together for a total score. Lower scores are better. Researchers will also learn more about the safety of BIIB080. The study will be split into 2 parts. The 1st part is the Placebo-Controlled Period. The 2nd part is the Long-Term Extension Period. The 2nd part of the study will help researchers learn about the long-term safety of BIIB080, and how it affects the participant's daily life, thinking, and memory abilities in the longer term. A description of how the study will be done is given below. After screening, participants will first receive either a low dose or high dose of BIIB080, or a placebo, as an injection into the fluid around the spinal cord (cerebrospinal fluid). A placebo looks like the study drug but contains no real medicine. Participants will receive BIIB080 or placebo once every 12 weeks or 24 weeks. After 76 weeks of treatment in the Placebo-Controlled Period, eligible participants will move onto the Extension Treatment period, which will last 96 weeks. In the extension period, participants who received placebo will be switched to high dose BIIB080 every 12 or 24 weeks. Participants may be in the study for up to 201 weeks, or about 4 years. This includes the screening and follow-up periods. Participants can continue to take certain medications for AD. Participants must be on the same dose of medication for at least 8 weeks before the screening period. After the screening period, most participants will visit the clinic every 6 weeks. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the amount of time before disease progression can be prolonged in participants with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (MCRPC) who receive lorigerlimab in addition to the standard of care (SOC) of docetaxel and prednisone. About 150 participants with mCRPC will be enrolled. Participants will be randomized in a 2:1 ratio to receive lorigerlimab with docetaxel and prednisone (experimental arm) or docetaxel and prednisone alone (standard-of-care arm). Lorigerlimab+docetaxel or docetaxel will be administered intravenously (IV) in clinic on Day 1 of each 3-week cycle. Prednisone will be administered orally twice daily. Lorigerlimab will be administered for up to 35 cycles. Docetaxel and prednisone will be administered up to 10 cycles until treatment discontinuation criteria are met. Participants will undergo regular testing for signs of disease progression using computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood tests. Participants will be asked to complete questionnaires about their health and well-being. Routine examinations and blood tests will be performed and evaluated by the study doctor. This is a randomized, active-controlled, double-blind clinical study designed to evaluate the antiretroviral activity, safety, and tolerability of doravirine/islatravir (DOR/ISL [MK-8591A]) in treatment-naïve participants with human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) infection. This is a Phase 2/3 study that comprises 5 substudies designed to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of oral etrasimod as therapy in adult participants with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease (CD) who are refractory or intolerant to at least 1 of the current therapies for CD (ie, corticosteroids, immunosuppressants, or biologics). Human immuno-deficiency virus (HIV) is the virus that causes Acquired Immuno-Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). HIV disease is considered to be a chronic disease requiring lifelong therapy. The purpose of this study is to assess change in disease activity, adverse events, tolerability, and how the drug moves through the body. Budigalimab and ABBV-382 are investigational drugs being developed for the treatment of HIV disease. Participants are placed in 1 of 5 groups, called treatment arms. Each group receives a different treatment. There is a 1 in 7 chance that participants will be assigned to placebo (A placebo is not a drug and it is not expected to have any chemical effects on your body and it is not designed to treat any disease or illness). Approximately 140 adult participants living with HIV disease on stable antiretroviral therapy (ART) willing to undergo Analytical Treatment Interruption (ATI) will be enrolled at approximately 90 sites worldwide. Participants will receive 4 doses of IV budigalimab or placebo combined with 3 doses of IV ABBV-382 or placebo for an 8 week dosing period. Participants need to be stable on antiretroviral therapy to participate in the study. If participant qualifies to the study, on the day they receive the first injection, participants will be asked to stop antiretroviral medications (also referred to as analytical treatment interruption or ATI) for 52 weeks or until meeting specific criteria to restart antiretroviral medications. Participants will undergo a closely monitored ART interruption. Protocol-defined ART restart criteria includes participant's request. Participants will be followed for up to approximately 52 weeks. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. There will be an option for virtual or home health visits for some of the follow-up visits. The objective of this trial is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Amulet LAA occluder compared to NOAC therapy in patients with non-valvular AF at increased risk for ischemic stroke and who are recommended for long-term NOAC therapy. The clinical investigation is a prospective, randomized, multicenter active control worldwide trial. Subjects will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio between the Amulet LAA occlusion device ("Device Group") and a commercially available NOAC medication ("Control Group").
