The goal of treating patients diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is to achieve remission or low disease activity and thereby prevent joint damage, loss of physical function, and disability. Optimal management requires regular assessment of disease activity, with treatment changes made as needed for optimal efficacy. Vectra is a blood serum test that looks at 12 biomarkers and produces a score on a scale of 1 to 100. The Vectra score has been shown to be the strongest predictor of risk for progression of disease. There is opportunity to gain more information about the utility of Vectra in a real-world clinical setting. This study will, therefore, evaluate the utility of Vectra for guiding treatment decisions and improving RA-related outcomes in comparison with usual care, which will not include Vectra testing. This study will enable a direct evaluation of the clinical benefit associated with using Vectra to guide treatment decisions in patients with RA. Read Less

Breast conserving surgery (BCS) is performed on patients with breast cancer to resect and completely remove the cancer while conserving as much of the surrounding healthy tissue as possible. Current methods do not allow surgeons to determine the completeness of surgical resection in real-time. This often results in the need for a second surgical procedure, or in some cases more than two surgical procedures in order to have confidence that all cancer has been removed. This Phase 3 study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of the fluorescent imaging agent PD G 506 A for the real-time visualization of cancer during standard of care breast conserving surgery. PD G 506 A is an investigational drug which is converted in the body into a fluorescent molecule that accumulates in cancer cells. Patients receiving PD G 506 A will undergo standard of care breast conserving surgery followed by fluorescence imaging and removal of any potentially cancerous tissue left behind in the surgical cavity. The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the efficacy of photobiomodulation of the pelvic floor muscles in female Veterans with chronic pelvic pain. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Is there a difference in reduction in overall pelvic pain between women who undergo photobiomodulation compared to women who received pelvic floor physical therapy? * Is there a difference in compliance with therapy between the two groups? Participants will be randomized to treatment with either 9 treatments of photobiomodulation (two treatments per week) or 8 weeks of pelvic floor physical therapy (one treatment a week). This is a multi-center, non-randomized, open label study. Subjects will be enrolled on a walk-in basis. Screening data will be reviewed to determine subject eligibility. Subjects who meet all inclusion criteria and none of the exclusion criteria will be entered into the study. All children will be exposed to non-radioactive 13C-Urea with citric acid, and shall submit a stool sample. Centers will house a PyloPlus UBT Analyzer to document results. PyloPlus Analyzer results shall remain blinded to the investigator and treating physician. No patient management decisions should be made based on the investigational PyloPlus® UBT System. Treating physician will prescribe a H. Pylori Stool Antigen Test to Stool test at either LabCorp or Quest Diagnostic, for the patient, which will be used for diagnostic purposes by the ordering physician. Older adults may feel at risk for falling, but do not have a physical risk of falling. On the other hand, some older adults may not feel at risk for falling, but do have a physical risk of falling. This study is being done to test a preventative, in-home exercise program (called PEER) which may allow older adults to improve balance, align the perceived risk for falling with the physical risk for falling, and prevent falls. Participants will be asked to participate in this study for approximately 9 months. This study has three specific aims: 1. Examine differences in balance, fall risk, and physical activity after program completion, follow-up 3 months and 6 months between older adults (OAs) in the Physio-fEedback Exercise pRogram (PEER) intervention and OAs in attention control (AC) condition. 2. Explore differences in exercise adherence and the proportion of shifting in fall risk appraisal and negative self-perception on aging after program completion, follow-up 3 months and 6 months between OAs in the PEER intervention and OAs in AC condition. 3. Explore participants' experiences with the PEER intervention and potential barriers to access and adoption of the technology-based PEER intervention to inform future research. Participants will be asked to participate in this study for approximately 9 months. This includes the baseline assessment, 8 weeks of PEER activities or attention control activities, and follow-up assessments at 3 months and 6 months. After the informed consent and completion of the baseline assessments, participants will be randomized to either the PEER intervention or the attention control (AC) group. Participants in the PEER intervention group will be asked to participate in group exercises (60 minutes per week for 8 weeks) and home-based exercises (twice a week for 8 weeks) that focus on balance, strength training with a peer coach. Participants in the AC group will receive an information pamphlet developed by the CDC about falls called Simple Exercises for Improving Balance and Preventing Falls in Older Adults. Topics include information on fall risks, how to prevent falls, how to check for safety, postural hypotension, and chair rise exercises. The control group will be encouraged to discuss fall prevention with a primary care provider and continue normal activities. Read Less
