The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether Time Restricted Eating (TRE) can improve responses in participants with metastatic head and neck squamous cell cancer (mHNSCC) receiving Immune Checkpoint Blockers (ICB) by changing the gut microbiome (the bacteria and other microorganisms living in individual's bodies). A particular focus of this study is to compare the outcomes of African American participants when compared to the rest of the participant population. TRE is a form of intermittent fasting where food and drink intake is limited to a specific time window during the day. The information learned from this study may help researchers develop new strategies to improve outcomes in patients with mHNSCC in the future. Participants will be asked to complete a dietary survey at baseline and week 9 and provide a baseline stool and blood sample. Two weeks before beginning ICB and after participants completed the baseline assessments, they will begin TRE. TRE will be defined as limiting food and drink intake to a 10 hour window during each day and fasting for 14 hours at night. Participants will be asked to complete a daily food log to document the times they eat and drink. On day 1 of ICB and weeks 3, 6, 9, 26, and 52 after ICB, participants will be asked to collect a blood sample and a toxicity assessment will be performed. On day 1 of ICB and weeks 9, 26, and 52 of ICB, participants will be asked to provide a stool sample. Participants will also undergo tumor imaging throughout the study as part of their standard of care assessments. If a participant's disease progresses after ICB, they will repeat all study assessments and be withdrawn from the study. Read Less

This is a phase-III multi-center double-blind randomized clinical trial of 1,800 individuals with a history of prior preterm birth at less than 35 weeks gestation who are randomized to either 162 mg aspirin or 81 mg aspirin daily. The study drug will be initiated between 10 and 15 weeks gestation and continued through 36 weeks, 6 days gestation. This is a global, multicenter, prospective, observational registry of patients with Pompe disease, including those with late-onset pompe disease (LOPD) and infantile-onset pompe disease (IOPD). Both untreated patients and those being treated with an approved therapy for Pompe disease are eligible to participate. ABBV-RGX-314 (also known as RGX-314) is being developed as a novel one-time gene therapy for the treatment of neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD). Wet AMD is characterized by loss of vision due to new, leaky blood vessel formation in the retina. Wet AMD is a significant cause of vision loss in the United States, Europe and Japan, with up to 2 million people living with wet AMD in these geographies alone. Current anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) therapies have significantly changed the landscape for treatment of wet AMD, becoming the standard of care due to their ability to prevent progression of vision loss in the majority of patients. These therapies, however, require life-long intraocular injections, typically repeated every four to 12 weeks in frequency, to maintain efficacy. Due to the burden of treatment, patients often experience a decline in vision with reduced frequency of treatment over time. Participants include men and women ≥ 40 years of age with T2DM, established CV disease, a history of HTN with an SBP of at least 130 mmHg at screening, who meet the predefined serum potassium level, and with at least one additional risk factor for HF. The study will include an optional pre-screening period to facilitate sites' identification of potentially eligible participants to enter the full screening assessments. Participants will not be required to visit the site and no informed consent is required for the optional pre-screening period. The pre-screening assessments do not replace the full screening tests at Visit 1. Upon entering the screening period, all consented participants (after signature of screening ICF) will be screened during an up to 14-day screening period. Participants who meet all screening inclusion/exclusion criteria but are not treated with SGLT2i or are treated for less than 4 weeks will enter a run-in period with dapagliflozin 10 mg once daily for at least 4 weeks (and not more than 6 weeks) before randomisation. Site visits will take place at approximately 2-, 4-, 8-, 16-, and 34-weeks following randomisation. Thereafter visits will occur approximately every 4 months. The study closure procedures will be initiated when the predetermined number of the first secondary endpoint events (ie, the composite of hospitalisation for HF or CV death) is predicted to have occurred i.e., the PACD. In case of premature discontinuation of the blinded study intervention, participants will remain in the study. Unless a participant meets the dapagliflozin specific discontinuation criteria, they will continue to receive open label dapagliflozin 10 mg. Primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is a condition where the immune system mistakenly destroys platelets, which are cells that help stop bleeding. This leads to a low number of platelets, making it easier to bruise or bleed. The main aim of this study is to learn whether mezagitamab, when given just under the skin (subcutaneously \[SC\]), is effective in keeping the platelet count of adults with ITP stable when compared to a placebo. A placebo looks like medicine but doesn't have any active ingredients in it. The participants will be treated with mezagitamab for up to 6 months. During the study, participants will visit their study clinic several times. Participants who complete the TAK-079-3002 study or do not have any response to study treatment by week 16 (according to study criteria) will be given the opportunity to participate in a continuation study to receive open label mezagitamab (if they are eligible and the site is able to open the continuation study). This phase I/II trial studies the safety, side effects and best dose of OBI-3424 and how well it works in treating patients with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia or T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma that has come back (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Chemotherapy drugs, such as OBI-3424, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading.
