Group treatments may be helpful for Veterans who have experienced military sexual trauma (MST). By doing this study, the investigators hope to learn if two different groups: Warrior Renew and Health & Wellness are effective in reducing mental health symptoms in Veterans who have experienced MST and if either is more effective than the other. The purpose of this research study is to determine the potential of magnetic resonance imaging, spectroscopy, and whole body imaging to monitor disease progression and to serve as an objective outcome measure for clinical trials in Muscular Dystrophy (MD). The investigators will compare the muscles of ambulatory or non-ambulatory boys/men with DMD with muscles of healthy individuals of the same age and monitor disease progression in those with DMD over a 5-10 year period. The amount of muscle damage and fat that the investigators measure will also be related to performance in daily activities, such as walking and the loss of muscle strength. In a small group of subjects the investigators will also assess the effect of corticosteroid drugs on the muscle measurements. Additionally, the investigators will map the progression of Becker MD following adults with this rare disease. The primary objective is to conduct a multi-centered study to validate the potential of non-invasive magnetic resonance imaging and magnetic resonance spectroscopy to monitor disease progression and to serve as a noninvasive surrogate outcome measure for clinical trials in DMD and BMD. The secondary objective is to characterize the progressive involvement of the lower extremity, upper extremity, trunk/respiratory muscles in boys/men with DMD and BMD guiding clinical trials. Over 7 million children in the U.S. receive support for a developmental delay or disability (DD). For caregivers of these children, behavior issues that often accompany their child's condition create high levels of stress leading to increased mental and physical health issues and impacts on caregiver-child interactions and family functioning. Although evidence-based practices exist to help caregivers with their child's behavioral development, access to these services is often limited by rigid delivery models requiring in-person visits that can delay support and further increase the burden on families. These barriers are disproportionately higher for families of color and for those in low resource situations: an effect that has been exacerbated by reductions in services due to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The overall objective of this project is to develop and implement a telehealth delivery model of rapid-response, evidence-based behavioral support to be provided in conjunction with an existing family navigation program (Undivided) serving parents of children with DD to create a commercially marketable product that will reduce barriers to services in local communities across the country. This project will test the feasibility and acceptability of the Family Advice Text and Telephone (FASTT) support service for caregivers of young children. This Phase 1 application will enable a collaborative process to adapt evidence-based behavioral support to the specific needs of families of children ages birth to 12 with DD and integrate that support within the existing family navigation service. The rationale for the work is that providing effective, personalized support through the widely accessible mediums of text and telephone will get caregivers the help they need when and where they have time to access it and close in time to the behavioral issues they need help with, thus reducing caregiver stress and increasing their sense of competence and positive interactions with their child. Aim 1 determines the feasibility of delivering evidence-based behavioral support to caregivers of children with disabilities using on-demand text messaging. Aim 2 gauges the acceptability of the text-based support service to caregivers. Aim 3 assesses the extent to which text-based support reduces caregiver stress, improves caregiver sense of competence, and builds more positive perceptions of their child's behavior and their relationship with their child. The ProActive registry is a longitudinal, multi-center study with a prospective arm observing clinical care for patients receiving physician ordered Prospera, an allograft rejection test, and a historical control arm collecting data on cases at the same sites whose kidney allograft rejection status was managed with Serum Creatinine SCr/estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate eGFR. This registry will compare patient management and outcomes in patients who receive Prospera (Prospera arm) to the outcomes of the historical control group (control arm) to determine Prospera's clinical utility. High-risk subjects defined as having a biopsy-demonstrated rejection event or at least one pre-existing Donor Specific Antibody DSA with total Mean Fluorescent Intensity MFI>3000 or a calculated Panel Reactive Antibodies cPRA>70% will be followed for an additional period up to 24 months in both the Prospera arm and historical control arm. The Accelerating Medicines Partnership® Schizophrenia (AMP® SCZ) is a large international collaboration to develop algorithms using a set of clinical and cognitive assessments, multi-modal biomarkers, and clinical endpoints that can be used to predict the trajectories and outcomes of individuals at clinical high risk (CHR) for psychosis and to advance the testing of pharmacological interventions for CHR individuals in need. The goal is to accurately predict which individuals are likely to remit, experience an acute psychotic episode, or have intermediate outcomes that feature persistent attenuated psychotic and/or mood symptoms along with functional impairment. The prediction algorithms will have the potential to serve as early indicators of treatment efficacy in CHR persons. The AMP SCZ research program is made up of the Psychosis Risk Evaluation, Data Integration, and Computational Technologies - Data Processing, Analysis and Coordination Center (PREDICT-DPACC) and two clinical research networks, the Psychosis-Risk Outcomes Network (ProNET) and the Trajectories and Predictors in the Clinical High Risk for Psychosis Population: Prediction Scientific Global Consortium (PRESCIENT) networks. The two clinical research networks will recruit a large cohort of CHR young people aged 12-30 years (n=1,977) and healthy control (HC) participants (n=640) across 42 participating investigative sites from 13 countries. CHR participants will complete screening, baseline assessments and a battery of follow-up assessments across 18 - 24 months. PURPOSE: In the proposed project, the investigators seek to examine whether the SWIFT Program might be efficacious to improve students' prosocial skills and emotion and behavior regulation and improve home-school communication and the use of positive parenting practices for families. The investigators will also test whether the SWIFT program might be efficacious to improve students' longer-term school adjustment and parents' involvement in school. SETTING: Study activities will take place in ten school districts in Lane County, OR. The districts have approximately 10,000 middle school students (Grades 6-8), and approximately 60% of students are eligible for free and reduced price lunch. Some participating districts participated in the IES-funded Goal 2 study to develop the SWIFT Program. POPULATION: 320 students in Grades 6-8 who are receiving special education services for emotional or behavioral disorders, and transitioning or at risk of transitioning between school settings and placements will be recruited. Parents and content area teachers of all participating students will be recruited to complete assessment measures. It is expected that up to 15% of the children in the study will be of Latino ethnicity and approximately 60% will be European-American and 10-20% will be of other or multiple ethnicities. INTERVENTION: The SWIFT Program is a 9-12 month intervention that includes four components: (a) behavioral progress monitoring, (b) case management of the intervention elements and coordination with the school, (c) parent support to promote parent engagement/collaboration with the school and study routines in the home, and (d) behavioral skills coaching for students. SERVICES AS USUAL (SAU) CONTROL CONDITION: The SAU students and families will continue to receive any services that they were receiving prior to their entry into the study (as will the SWIFT students and families). This clinical trial studies the use of "smart" body-weight scales to monitor weight and nutrition among patients with head and neck cancer undergoing radiation therapy. Malnutrition affects 30-50% of patients diagnosed with head and neck cancer, and approximately 30% of patients have malnutrition prior to diagnosis. "Smart" body weight scales can possibly make self-weighing easier, faster, and more accurate through weight recordings through mobile applications available for "smart" scales. This has the potential to maximize nutritional guidance through quick weight updates, possibly delaying or removing the use of patient enteral feeding (tube feeding). By avoiding or minimizing the use of enteral feeding during radiation therapy, the risk of long-term tube dependence and swallowing ability complications may be reduced. Read Less

The purpose of this post-market study is to evaluate changes in pain and neurological function with high frequency, 10 kHz spinal cord stimulation (SCS) therapy in patients with chronic, intractable lower limb pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, a condition known as painful diabetic neuropathy (PDN). This is a multi-center, prospective, randomized controlled study to evaluate improvement in pain and neurological function in PDN patients, with neurological function assessed via objective measures. The Sharing History through Active Reminiscence and Photo-imagery (SHARP) Program engages triads (primary caregiver, person living with dementia, caregiver support person) in walking and social reminiscence, using a group tablet to access routes and historical neighborhood images serving as conversational prompts. Focus is on adapting the SHARP model to older Black dementia caregivers and on caregiver physical and mental health. Study technology measures sleep and daily step count. Weekly online surveys assess health status. Pre-post assessments measure cognitive function and mental health.
