Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Recruiting
Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is an FDA-approved, non-invasive form of brain stimulation for OCD. TMS has been shown to be an effective form of treatment in individuals with OCD. By using a form of TMS termed theta-burst stimulation (TBS), we hope that this will result in a more effective treatment by producing faster symptom reduction. We are trialing a novel form of accelerated TMS, where we will deliver ten 10-minute sessions per day, for 5 days. This study will compare the efficacy of TMS for OCD at two distinct brain regions. Participants will be randomized into one of two study groups, and receive stimulation at either the DMPFC or R-OFC. Both regions have been linked to OCD by research. Patients that don't respond to their study region will have the option to receive stimulation at the other region.

A Precision Medicine Approach to Identify Patients Undergoing Elective PCI at Risk of Peri-PCI Myocardial Infarction
Recruiting
Despite the relative safety of PCI with new generation stents, peri-PCI thrombotic complications, including myocardial infarction and myocardial injury, are common in elective PCI, occurring in up to 30% of patients. Importantly, these events are associated with poor prognosis. The risk of peri-PCI myocardial infarction/myocardial injury has been in part attributed to HPR. The aim of this study is to prospectively validate the accuracy of the ABCD-GENE score in identifying stable CAD patients un... Read More

Switching From Dual Antiplatelet Therapy to Monotherapy With Potent P2Y12 Inhibitors
Recruiting
Ticagrelor currently represents the most tested and commonly used P2Y12 inhibitor monotherapy following percutaneous coronary intervention. The purpose of this study is to conduct a head-to-head comparison on the pharmacodynamic efficacy of ticagrelor-based and prasugrel-based single antiplatelet therapy. To determine if the PD profiles of ticagrelor- and prasugrel-based SAPT are comparable, we aim to conduct a non-inferiority study between the two strategies.

A Randomized Comparison of Personalized Therapy Mgmt Based On Coronary Atherosclerotic Plaque Vs. Usual Care for Symptomatic Patients With Suspicion of CAD
Recruiting
PARAMOUNT is a prospective randomized open-label trial testing the hypothesis that a personalized management strategy in symptomatic patients with suspicion of coronary artery disease (CAD), using a CT-based coronary atherosclerotic plaque assessment by AI-enabled quantitative software improves: certainty for diagnosis of CAD, control of CAD risk factors and efficiency of ICA referral with appropriate PCI compared to the usual care strategy based on current AHA/ACC guidelines for care of symptom... Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to assess if using the Impella® CP (or Impella® 2.5) device during high-risk PCI in patients with reduced left-sided heart function will result in an improvement in symptoms, heart function and health after a heart procedure compared to the current standard of care.

Recruiting
CKJX839D12303 is a research study to determine if the study treatment, called inclisiran, in comparison to placebo taken in addition to statin medication can effectively reduce the total amount of plaque formed in the heart's vessels as measured by coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) from baseline to month 24. This study is being conducted in eligible participants with a diagnosis of non-obstructive coronary artery disease (NOCAD), where the coronary arteries are blocked less than 50... Read More
