NAD+ Oral Supplement Pilot Intervention in Adult Females
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) can influence cognition and biomarkers in healthy, cognitively intact women who identify as Latina and are between the ages of 40-80. The main questions it aims to answer are:
Will executive function change in response to NAD+? Will inflammatory markers and serum indicators of neurodegeneration change in response to NAD+? Researchers will compare individuals receiving the NAD+ to see if the results differ fr... Read More

A Study of Different Programs to Help ALL Patients With Taking Maintenance Medicine at Home
Recruiting
This clinical trial tests different programs to help patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) remember to take their medications during maintenance therapy at home. One problem with ALL maintenance treatment is remembering to take medicines at home like patients are supposed to. In maintenance, a medicine called 6-mercaptopurine or "6MP" is taken by mouth every day at home. In this study, 6MP prescriptions are filled into a special medication bottle called MEMS® which is fitted with a sp... Read More

Superiority Trial Between Sotair® Device Attached to Manual Resuscitator Versus Ventilation Alone
Recruiting
Effective respiratory ventilation is achieved by moving the right amount of air to and out of the lungs while keeping the pressures at a safe level. A disposable safety device, Adult Sotair®, was created to improve manual ventilation delivery. In this superiority study, the investigators will perform two-group cross over randomized design to test the superiority of the Adult Sotair® device compared to manual ventilation alone.

Non-inferiority Trial Between Sotair® Device Attached to Manual Resuscitator Versus Mechanical Ventilation
Recruiting
Effective respiratory ventilation is achieved by moving the right amount of air in and out of the lungs while keeping the pressures at a safe level. A disposable safety device, Adult Sotair®, was created to improve manual ventilation delivery. In this non-inferiority study, we will perform a pre-post study design (single group, within-group comparison) to test the non-inferiority of the Adult Sotair® device compared to mechanical ventilation.

Generic Database of Very Low Birth Weight Infants
Recruiting
The Generic Database (GDB) is a registry of very low birth weight infants born alive in NICHD Neonatal Research Network (NRN) centers. The GDB collects observational baseline data on both mothers and infants, and the therapies used and outcomes of the infants. The information collected is not specific to a disease or treatment (i.e., it is "generic"). Data are analyzed to find associations and trends between baseline information, treatments, and infant outcome, and to develop future NRN trials.

Follow-up Visit of High Risk Infants
Recruiting
The NICHD Neonatal Research Network's Follow-Up study is a multi-center cohort in which surviving extremely low birth-weight infants born in participating network centers receive neurodevelopmental, neurosensory and functional assessments at 22-26 months corrected age (Infants born prior to July 1, 2012 were seen at 18-22 months corrected age). Data regarding pregnancy and neonatal outcome are collected prospectively. The goal is to identify potential maternal and neonatal risk factors that may... Read More
