Impella Reverse Remodeling in End-Stage Heart Failure
Recruiting
This observational study is being done to learn more about heart attack recovery in patients supported with the Impella 5.5 left ventricular assist device (LVAD) as part of their standard of care. There are three stages in this study: screening, treatment and post treatment. There will be two phases of enrollment: First phase will enroll 10 patients; second phase will enroll an additional 40 patients. Approximately 50 participants will take part in the study at Columbia University Irving Medical... Read More

REGN5381 in Adult Participants With Heart Failure With Reduced Ejection Fraction
Recruiting
This study is researching an experimental drug called REGN5381 (called "study drug"). The study is focused on patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (ie, the heart is not functioning as well as it should). The aim of the study is to see how safe, tolerable, and effective the study drug is. The study is looking at several other research questions, including: * What side effects may happen from taking the study drug * How much study drug is in the blood at different times *... Read More

A Study of Paramedic HF Management
Recruiting
The purpose of this research is to see if having community paramedic (CP) visit patients at home to manage their heart failure help them stay out of the hospital and improve their overall health compared to standard care. The investigators want to find out if their approach is better for patients in terms of their quality of life, hospital stays, emergency visits, and cost. The investigators are also looking to see how happy patients and doctors are with this method and if it's a practical and s... Read More

Diuretics Alone vs. Aortix Endovascular Device for Acute Heart Failure
Recruiting
Aortix is a circulatory support device for chronic heart failure patients on medical management who have been hospitalized for acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF) and have persistent congestion despite usual medical therapy. Eligible ADHF patients with diuretic resistance (irrespective of ejection fraction) will be enrolled and randomized 1:1 to either the Aortix system or standard of care medical management.

A Research Study Comparing Different Doses of CDR132L With Placebo on the Structure and Function of the Heart in People With Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction and Left Ventricular Hypertrophy
Recruiting
This study will look into how CDR132L (a potential new medicine) works on the structure and function of the heart in people living with heart failure. Participants will either get CDR132L or placebo (a medicine which has no effect on the body), which treatment the participants get is decided by chance. The study will last for about 60 weeks.

Acalabrutinib Monotherapy vs Investigator's Choice of Treatment in Patients With CL Leukaemia and Heart Failure
Recruiting
This will be a global Phase IV, open-label, randomised study to evaluate the safety and tolerability of acalabrutinib (monotherapy, 100 mg orally \[po\], twice daily \[bd\]) compared to investigator's choice of treatment, in patients with CLL (TN or R/R) and moderate to severe cardiac impairment. All patients will have cardiac impairment as defined by LVEF of \< 50%. Randomisation will be stratified by LVEF \> 40% vs ≤ 40% to stratify for moderate and severe cardiac impairment, which for this s... Read More
