The goal of this study is to develop and test the feasibility of a supportive care model (POISE) for patients with metastatic Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). The main questions are is POISE feasible to deliver and acceptable to patients what is the effect of POISE on the distress patients feel related to their uncertain future, their confidence in their ability to manage cancer, and their understanding about what to expect Participants in the randomized controlled trial will receive either the new supportive care model, POISE, which consists of four visits with a trained palliative care clinician, or care as usual, and will be asked to complete three surveys. Patients undergoing radiation for the treatment of malignancies may suffer from side effects to the skin in the form of radiation dermatitis. This can lead to local wound formation with poor healing. Treatment options for the resulting wound can range from watchful waiting to more aggressive debridement and secondary grafting. Epidermal grafting is a technique in which autologous epidermis is used to cover wounds that are larger than the donor site. Previous studies have demonstrated that this is an effective treatment for different wounds and ulcers but its utility has not yet been evaluated for the treatment of radiation induced injuries. The CelluTome Epidermal Grafting System is a semi automated device that allows easy formation of epidermal Blister. The goal of this prospective cohort study is to assess potential differences in sleep biomarkers in older adult patients undergoing major orthopedic surgery. The main questions it aims to answer are: To define sleep/circadian biomarkers of delirium (sleep duration, regularity, stability and timing of rhythm) in a prospective observational study. To determine if plasma Alzheimer's disease (AD) pathology/inflammatory burden interacts with or moderates the relationship between a sleep/circadian biomarker and post-operative delirium (POD) risk. To determine whether sleep/circadian regulation interacts with the genetic risk of AD to influence POD/cognitive decline. This is a phase I/II, open-label, multicenter study . During the study, subjects will be evaluated for safety, toxicity, tolerability, PK/PD, immunogenicity, biomarkers, and antitumor activity of HB0045. The phase I study will enroll up to 54 subjects with advanced solid tumors who have progressed on or after standard of care therapy and for whom there is no further treatment available that in the judgement of the patient's physician would be beneficial. Our overall objective is to obtain an initial assessment of the potential value of using [18F]3F4AP for imaging demyelinating diseases such as multiple sclerosis: Aim 1) Assess the safety of [18F]3F4AP in healthy volunteers and subjects with multiple sclerosis (MS). Hypothesis 1: Administration of [18F]3F4AP will result in no changes in vitals or other adverse events. Aim 2) Assess the pharmacokinetics of a bolus infusion of [18F]3F4AP in humans including healthy volunteers and MS patients. Hypothesis 2: the pharmacokinetics of [18F]3F4AP at the whole brain level will be similar in controls and MS subjects. The kinetics in demyelinated lesions will be slower than in healthy control areas. Aim 3) Assess the reproducibility of [18F]3F4AP in humans. Hypothesis 3: the test/retest variability of [18F]3F4AP within the same subject will be lower than 10%. Aim 4) Correlate MR brain images with [18F]3F4AP PET brain images. Hypothesis 4A: all the lesions seen on the MRI will show increased signal (VT or SUV) on the PET images. Hypothesis 4B: some of the lesions on the MRI will show increased signal (VT or SUV) on the PET but not all. Aim 5) Correlate [18F]3F4AP PET signal with neuropsychological testing in people with MS. Hypothesis 5: increased PET signal (VT or SUV) will correlate with impaired Single Digit Modality Test (SDMT) scores. Aim 6) Correlate [18F]3F4AP PET signal with EDSS score in people with MS. The aim of this project is to assess the effectiveness of the IlluminOss pelvic implants in patients with pelvic metastatic disease presenting with pain, risk of pathologic fracture, non-displaced or minimally displaced pathologic fracture of the pelvis, and geriatric patients with pelvic fragility fractures. Results from this study will be used to confirm preliminary clinically and possibly statistically significant reductions in pain and improvements in function among these patients. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to establish a registry of individuals with confirmed or suspected Chopra-Amiel-Gordon Syndrome (CAGS) to learn more about the range of symptoms, changes in the structure of the brain seen on imaging, and learning difficulties that individuals with this disorder may experience. The investigators will obtain medical history, family history, MRI records, patient photographs, and genetic test results from individuals with confirmed or suspected CAGS. A subset of participants will also undergo a standardized neurobehavioral assessment. This data will be maintained on a secure research database. Sample collection will be offered to participants for the functional testing and the generation of iPSC cell lines, for neuronal reprogramming and phenotyping. Read Less
