Letrozole With or Without Paclitaxel and Carboplatin in Treating Patients With Stage II-IV Ovarian, Fallopian Tube, or Primary Peritoneal Cancer
Recruiting
This phase III trial studies how well letrozole with or without paclitaxel and carboplatin works in treating patients with stage II-IV low-grade serous carcinoma of the ovary, fallopian tube, or peritoneum. Letrozole is an enzyme inhibitor that lowers the amount of estrogen made by the body which in turn may stop the growth of tumor cells that need estrogen to grow. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by... Read More

Connect® Myeloid Disease Registry
Recruiting
The purpose of the Connect® Myeloid disease registry is to provide unique insights into treatment decisions and treatment patterns as they relate to clinical outcomes of patients with myeloid diseases in routine clinical practice. This disease registry will also evaluate molecular and cellular markers that may provide further prognostic classification which may or may not be predictive of therapy and clinical outcomes.

Diaphragmatic Hernia Research & Exploration, Advancing Molecular Science
Recruiting
The goal of this study is to identify genes that convey susceptibility to congenital diaphragmatic hernia in humans. The identification of such genes, and examination of their structure and function, will enable a delineation of molecular pathogenesis and, ultimately, prevention or treatment of congenital diaphragmatic hernia. There are many different possible modes of inheritance for congenital anomalies, including autosomal dominant, autosomal recessive, and multifactorial. Multi-factorial inh... Read More

Genetic and Epigenetic Basis of Chronic Wounds
Recruiting
This pilot study is designed for chronic wounds that fail to heal in a timely manner carry specific genetic signatures. These genetic signatures will be studied using debrided wound tissue that is removed by the wound care provider as part of standard of care. The reference genomic signature will be evaluated by obtaining blood samples and will be compared with wound debrided tissue genomic signature to understand wound specific genomic changes.

Longitudinal Study for Eosinophilic Granulomatosis With Polyangiitis
Recruiting
Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) is a rare immune system disorder that causes asthma, an excessive number of eosinophils (a type of white blood cell) in the blood, and the inflammation of blood vessels, or vasculitis. In order to properly treat EGPA, it is critical that the level of disease activity can be determined over the course of the disease. The purpose of this study is to determine new biological markers, or biomarkers, that may be used to assess the severity of this... Read More

A Phase II Study of Pre-Op SRS Followed by Surgical Resection for Brain Metastases
Recruiting
This is a research study to determine if performing stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) prior to surgical resection of the brain metastasis (tumor) will improve local control, in other words, increase the possibility of total removal of the primary tumor without local recurrence on longterm follow up. This research study will also determine if pre-operative SRS will lower the risk of radionecrosis that is the breakdown of body tissue at the original tumor site, and the development of leptomeningeal...
