Impact of Bromocriptine on Clinical Outcomes for Peripartum Cardiomyopathy
Recruiting
The study will enroll 200 women newly diagnosed with peripartum cardiomyopathy within 5 months postpartum in a randomized placebo controlled trial of bromocriptine therapy to evaluate its impact on myocardial recovery and clinical outcomes. Given that bromocriptine prevents breastfeeding, an additional 50 women with peripartum cardiomyopathy excluded from the trial due to a desire to continue breastfeeding but meeting all other entry criteria will be followed in an observational cohort.

Nephrotic Syndrome Study Network
Recruiting
Minimal change disease (MCD), focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), and Membranous nephropathy (MN), generate an enormous individual and societal financial burden, accounting for approximately 12% of prevalent end stage renal disease (ESRD) cases (2005) at an annual cost in the US of more than $3 billion. However, the clinical classification of these diseases is widely believed to be inadequate by the scientific community. Given the poor understanding of MCD/FSGS and MN biology, it is not s... Serial Imaging of the Novel Radiotracer [^18F] FLuorthanatrace ([^18F] FTT) by PET/CTF
Recruiting
This phase I trial studies how well fluorine F 18 fluorthanatrace positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) works in patients with solid tumors. Fluorine F 18 fluorthanatrace is a radioactive tracer, a type of imaging agent that is labeled with a radioactive tag and injected into the body to help with imaging scans. PET/CT uses a scanner to make detailed, computerized pictures of areas inside the body. PET/CT with Fluorine F 18 fluorthanatrace may allow more tumor cells to be f... Read More

Contrast Enhanced Spectral Mammography for the Evaluation of Pathologic Nipple Discharge
Recruiting
This clinical trial studies contrast enhanced spectral mammography (CESM) for the evaluation of pathologic nipple discharge. CESM is similar to standard mammography, but it includes an intravenous (by vein) injection of an iodine-based contrast, which makes tissue and blood vessels more visible in scans. The goal of this trial is to learn if CESM, is better than standard mammography in quickly and efficiently determining the cause of nipple discharge and detecting breast cancer, if present. CESM...
