This phase II trial studies the effect of adding pembrolizumab to gemcitabine in treating patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer whose cancer does not respond to Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) treatment. Chemotherapy drugs, such as gemcitabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the patient's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Adding pembrolizumab to gemcitabine may delay the return of BCG-unresponsive bladder cancer for longer period compared to gemcitabine alone. Read Less

Endometriosis is a painful disorder of the uterus affecting 6-10% of women of childbearing age. Endometriosis affects daily activities, social relationships, sexuality and sexual activity, and mental health. This study will evaluate how well elagolix in combination with combined oral contraceptives (COC) works within the body and/or how safe it is compared to placebo (does not contain treatment drug). This study will assess the dysmenorrhea (painful periods) response in participants with endometriosis and associated pain. Elagolix is an approved drug for the management of moderate to severe pain associated with endometriosis. Participants are randomly put in 1 of 3 groups, called treatment arms. Each group receives a different treatment. There is a 1 in 3 chance that participants will be assigned to placebo. Adult female participants who still have periods with a diagnosis of endometriosis will be enrolled. Around 800 participants will be enrolled in the study at multiple sites in the United States, including Puerto Rico. Participants will receive oral elagolix or placebo tablets in combination with combined oral contraceptive (COC) or placebo capsules for 3 months. All the participants will receive elagolix tablets in combination with COC tablets from Month 4 through Month 18. There will be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the course of the study at a hospital or clinic. This phase II trial compares iberdomide maintenance therapy to disease monitoring for improving survival in patients who have received idecabtagene vicleucel (a type of chimeric antigen receptor T-cell \[CAR-T\] therapy) for multiple myeloma. The usual approach after treatment with idecabtagene vicleucel is to monitor the multiple myeloma without giving myeloma medications. There is currently no medication approved specifically for use after idecabtagene vicleucel treatment. Upon administration, iberdomide modifies the immune system and activates immune cells called T-cells, which could enhance the effectiveness of idecabtagene vicleucel. Iberdomide may keep multiple myeloma under control for longer than the usual approach (disease monitoring) after idecabtagene vicleucel, and may help multiple myeloma patients live longer. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab (MK-3475) with or without chemotherapy in combination with vibostolimab (MK-7684), boserolimab (MK-5890), MK-4830, MK-0482, I-DXd, or HER3-DXd in treatment-naïve participants with advanced squamous or non-squamous NSCLC. A migraine is a moderate to severe headache typically on one side of the head. A migraine attack is a headache that may be accompanied by throbbing, nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound, or other symptoms. Menstrual migraine (MM) is defined as migraine attacks that occur within the perimenstrual period (PMP) in at least 2 out of 3 menstrual cycles. The PMP is from 2 days before the onset of menstrual bleeding to 2 days after. This study will assess how safe and effective ubrogepant is in treating menstrual migraine. Adverse Events and change in disease activity will be assessed. Ubrogepant is an investigational drug being developed for short-term prevention of menstrual migraine. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of the 2 groups to receive either ubrogepant or placebo. Around 450 adult female participants with menstrual migraine will be enrolled in approximately 100 sites in the United States and Puerto Rico. Participants will receive oral ubrogepant tablets once daily for 7 consecutive days starting 3 days prior to estimated onset of menses per cycle for 3 PMPs during double-blind period (16 weeks). Eligible participants may continue to receive oral ubrogepant tablets once daily for 7 consecutive days per cycle starting 3 days prior to estimated onset of menses during open-label extension period (52 weeks). There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will collect data daily in electronic diaries and attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. This study is referred to as the "umbrella master protocol" for pembrolizumab (MK-3475) in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This pembrolizumab NSCLC umbrella master protocol uses a platform design and consists of this master screening study and seven substudies. Each substudy will enroll a different population of NSCLC participants. The goal of this umbrella master protocol is to screen potential participants with NSCLC for enrollment into 1 of 7 substudies. Participants must first enroll in this pembrolizumab master protocol study and undergo screening for NSCLC that will be used to assign them to participation in 1 of 7 pembrolizumab substudies. This is an adaptive Phase 2/3 multicenter, double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized, parallel, 2 arm study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of DA-1229 compared to placebo in patients with calcific aortic valve disease with mild to moderate aortic stenosis. There are 2 arms in this study to which patients will be randomized in a ratio of 1:1 to receive the DA-1229 or placebo orally once daily for a period of 104 weeks. This is a first in human, open-label, multi-center Phase 1 / 2 study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and initial efficacy of AU-007 in patients with advanced solid tumors. AU-007 will be administered either as a monotherapy, or in combination with a single loading dose of aldesleukin, or with both AU-007 and aldesleukin given every 2 weeks (Q2w).
