Prospective Global Registry for the Study of Chronic Total Occlusion Intervention
Recruiting
Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) of chronic total occlusions (CTOs) is increasingly being performed in patients with advanced coronary artery disease, but there is limited information on the techniques utilized and the procedural outcomes. The goal of this multicenter, investigator initiated registry is to collect information on treatment strategies and outcomes of consecutive patients undergoing CTO PCI among various participating centers. The information collected will be used to deter... Read More

Feasibility Testing an Exercise Program to Improve Cognition for T2DM Patients
Recruiting
This proposed study will advance science by providing evidence on the feasibility of a standardized, rigorously designed and delivered exercise program to improve cognition and plasma brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) levels for individuals with type 2 diabetes. We will also explore how certain genetic variant may influence exercise-induced cognitive improvements and plasma BDNF levels. Findings of the proposed study will establish a comprehensive knowledge base for future research and de... Read More

vDOT for Newly Diagnosed Pediatric Asthma
Recruiting
The goal of this research study is to compare the impact of video directly observed therapy on inhaler technique accuracy with participants receiving video directly observed therapy vs. participants receiving standard asthma care. Participants will be randomized between the two groups. We will follow up and compare the two groups to see if they have improved asthma control as measured by symptom-free days, higher inhaler technique at 3-month follow up, higher checklist scores on a standardized i... Community Translation of the Expecting Study
Recruiting
The Expecting intervention as delivered in prior studies in a clinical setting is described in a previous approved IRB submission (Protocol 202954). The current project will seek to engage community stakeholders to translate Expecting to a community-delivered intervention and to test its acceptability, feasibility, and fidelity in a proof of principle study with 60 expecting mothers.

Time Restricted Feeding, Muscle, and Metabolism
Recruiting
Effective nutrition strategies for combatting and/or preventing obesity still need to be identified. This has been the case despite the numerous and different approaches that have been taken. Potential targets for combatting/preventing obesity have been identified, but long-term solutions have not emerged. This study uses time restricted feeding to study the role of dietary protein in obesity prevention and/or treatment. The objectives are to determine the role of skeletal muscle mass as a drive...
