Valve Hemodynamic Optimization Based on Doppler-Echocardiography vs Catheterization Measurements Following ViV TAVR
Recruiting
Data on valve performance following ViV-TAVR has usually been obtained with the use of Doppler-echocardiography. However, some reports have shown significant discordances in the evaluation of mean transvalvular gradient between echocardiography and catheterization, with an overestimation of the real gradient with echo (vs. cath) in most cases. Thus, the incidence of procedural-device failure may be lower than that reported in the ViV-TAVR literature,

Laparoscopic Versus Robotic Lateral Transabdominal Adrenalectomy
Recruiting
This study is being done to compare Laparoscopic vs Robotic lateral transabdominal adrenalectomy, these procedures are both standard of care. The study team would like to compare both patient outcomes and surgeon efficiency and perspectives among both procedures. The information from this study will help improve patient care, patient outcomes and maximize the appropriate utilization of resources in adrenal surgery.

Evaluating Additive Effects of Including Canines in Regulating Together
Recruiting
The primary objective is to evaluate the potential additive effect of animal-assisted intervention (AAI) on a manualized behavioral treatment targeting emotion dysregulation (ED) in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Aim 1: Evaluate whether Regulating Together-Canine demonstrates earlier and greater improvement in emotion dysregulation than Regulating Together-Standard. Aim 2: Evaluate if Regulating Together-Canine increases child engagement and learning compared to Regulating Toget... Read More

Enhancing the Effectiveness of Prolonged Exposure Among Suicidal Individuals With PTSD
Recruiting
The long-term goal of this study is to reduce suicidal thoughts and behaviors among treatment-seeking individuals who also have posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Prolonged exposure (PE) and crisis response plan (CRP) have demonstrated empirical support for reducing suicide attempts as compared to treatment as usual. However, no studies to date have assessed their effectiveness when used in combination. In light of this knowledge gap, the primary objective of this study will be to test the ef... Read More

Implementing Models for Mechanical Circulatory Support Presurgical Assessment in Congenital Heart Disease Treatment
Recruiting
The purpose of this research study is to look at the advantages of using a 3D printed heart model for surgical planning in children who have been diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) and clinical heart failure and will undergo a ventricular assist device (VAD) placement. The investigators want to study the correlation of having a 3D printed model with improvement in patient outcomes and compare those with patients who have had a VAD placement without a 3D model.
