The overall goal of this large, pragmatic, comparative effectiveness trial is to test the hypothesis that among at-risk individuals, 162 mg/day aspirin is superior to 81 mg/day in preventing Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP), and that there are multiple factors associated with adherence with aspirin therapy that will be important to identify to enable optimal implementation of study findings and population-level benefits. The purpose of RECOVER is to evaluate the performance and safety of Transorb™ self-gripping resorbable mesh in high-risk subjects (at least one risk factor impairing wound healing) when used for reinforcement of abdominal wall soft tissues in procedures involving open extraperitoneal ventral hernia repair, in clean (US); and clean and clean-contaminated (Europe) surgical fields (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Classification I and II. This is a Phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multiple dose study to assess the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of JK07 in participants aged 18-85 with heart failure. ARB-PMCF is a multicenter, observational study of the safety and performance of Abbott annuloplasty devices used in surgical repair of mitral and tricuspid valve regurgitation. The devices included in this study are the SJM™ Rigid Saddle Ring and SJM Séguin Annuloplasty Ring, indicated for mitral valve repair, and the SJM Tailor™ Annuloplasty Ring and SJM Tailor Annuloplasty Band, indicated for mitral or tricuspid repair. Participants will be enrolled prior to undergoing mitral or tricuspid valve repair surgery including an Abbott annuloplasty implant and will complete annual follow-up visits through five years from implant. AVX-001 (LUCIDITY) is a Phase 3 study to evaluate avexitide compared to placebo in participants with post bariatric hypoglycemia (PBH) related to Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB). The study will assess avexitide compared to placebo for safety and efficacy, measured by reduction of hypoglycemic events. This clinical trial evaluates the use of self-collected vaginal samples for human papillomavirus (HPV) testing in patients referred for a colposcopy and/or cervical excisional procedures to improve cervical cancer prevention. HPV is a common virus which usually causes infections that last only a few months, but sometimes can last longer. HPV is known to cause a variety of cancers including cervical cancer. Even though there are ways to detect cervical cancer, many individuals are not diagnosed. Over half of all new cervical cancer cases are among those who have either never been screened or who are not screened enough. The low screening numbers show more testing needs to be done. Without appropriate screening and care, preventable precancer may turn into cancer. A new way to detect cervical cancer is to have individuals collect their own sample for HPV testing to know their risk for cervical cancer. This may give individuals more flexibility and comfort having the ability to collect samples themselves, compared to a doctor performing a speculum examination and collecting the samples in a clinic. Information gathered from this study compares clinical accuracy of HPV testing on self-collected vaginal samples versus cervical samples collected by clinician. The Self-collection for HPV Testing to Improve Cervical Cancer Prevention (SHIP) Trial is part of the National Cancer Institute (NCI)'s Cervical Cancer 'Last Mile' Initiative, a public private partnership that seeks to increase access to cervical cancer screening. The SHIP Trial focuses on developing clinical evidence to inform the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)'s regulatory reviews of self-collection approaches as alternative sample collection approaches for cervical cancer screening. Several industry partner-specific self-collection device and assay combinations will be non-competitively and independently evaluated with a similar study design framework to inform pre-approval and/or post-approval regulatory requirements. One approach will include home BP telemonitoring supported by a pharmacist and a community health worker.
